The wife of a serving UK soldier has gone to Spain to avoid deportation from the UK. She is Canadian. They married in Germany and have children, which she has had to leave behind in the UK until the mess is sorted out.

you would think the dept would actually sit down and discuss the situation amd make allowences while paperwork is looked at by 27 different depts.

And they moan about the amount of children that grow up with 1 parent, why aren'y they doing something to stop these little children suffering???

These kids may have to go into care if he is called up for a tour of duty while she is out of the country.

Amazing how the gov thinks with it's paperwork rules, we had a case here a couple of yrs ago, he had been here about 17 yrs, worked hard to build upoa business, raised his family here, paid his taxes like he was told to, then bang, he has a notice to be deported, children and wife were Australian, but he was not, what took them so long to work this out?
It's a piece of paper, a few questions and it's all over,
why deport and cause heartache.
