....

After all the talk of GHDs are totally the best hair straighteners in the world ever, I was watching some fleabay sales. Well, fate would have it that I completely missed the end of them.

Today I was in Wilkinsons and saw that the Babyliss Pro Straighteners were reduced from £38 to £24.99. They were the last ones so I snatched them up. My mum works there so we get employee discount (until saturday anyway) and I got them for £21.75.

I just tried them and they are quite simply...fantabulous! I am in love with them. Sooooooooo easy and I now have sleek straight hair and look ...well...sexy even at 11pm. My life has been changed....I have seen the light!

GHDs my little cute BTM! LOL.

*twirls and swishes*

Hayley, I twuly am...although mine didn't cost £100 and I can spend what's left over on my new bed (I want a four poster when I get my flat LOL)

When my hair dries naturally it's quite curly but only like the bottom 2-3 inches and I have an annoying calf-flick, so they had a really good test tonight.

I know why the other ones did nothing...they just weren't hot enough and the plates were metal. These are ceramic tourmaline (whatever that is LOL) and even the lowest setting was enough.

Tomorrow...I will test them on mum's stubbornly thick and frizzy hair.... *holds life in my hands*PMSL

Maggy, isn't it always the way, people with curls want straight, people with straight want curls. I always just wanted one or the other LOL.

The home perm that was meant to be a gentle wave when I was thirteen was very unsuccessful, it took only in the fringe but what was meant to be a gentle wave was actually a manic frizzzzzzz of course... hair straighteners either were non-existent or something that only the famous/rich had back then.

Even if you pay £120.00 thats how much were....if you dont have your spilt ends trimmed ever 6 - 8 weeks you may as well not bother....

Not yet Ros... keep them fingers crossed.

I am, however the proud owner of a 60sq ft storage unit, which is actually bigger than some of the rooms in the halls of residence where I was at uni...and people paid 50quid a week for them LOL.

At least with my new straighteners I'll be the cutest looking homeless person you'll ever see ;-)

*Gawps at Hayley* Every 6-8 WEEKS?

Oh crap... It's usually every 6-8 months for me LOL. I think a month has already gone by since I've been dillydallying over these straighteners.
