1 year ago today I lost my dear friend Julie to cancer, she'd been fighting it for so long.
I can't believe it's a whole year! it seems like yesterday she told me she had only 3 months to live and thats what she got.

I added her to Viv's healing thoughts thread at that time in all hope that a miracle would happen.

I still have her photo above my pc which I often look at and wonder how she carried on with her struggle.

She was a one in a million mate.

I remember both of the occasions...Gillie's friend and Dave's Brother....Both very sad and like you say, it doesn't seem that long ago.

I remember vividly the day your brother died Dave... your pain for all the family.

I can't say that I remember your friends Gillie, but I do know how you're feeling.

My son's pal died suddenly two years ago this month... and we miss him dreadfully at times.
We thought of him as a son, and he was one of us.
Our son used joke that he 'Peter' was the favourite son.... but we had to look loyal to our real son!
He was only 27.... just a babe.
Yes... time flies.

thinking of you today and dave
I lost my best freind to cancer 17 months ago miss her terribly her 16year old daughter lived with us, but is now settled in a nice flat with other youngsters in the same sort of situation just 10 mins away.
How is your son getting on i hope he is feeling a bit better

Time flies so fast doesn't it? I remember you losing your lovely friend, and I remember Dave losing his brother too. I still have the photo up of my best friend, unbelievably she passed away four years ago next month.
