I get like that - usually 'cos something's bothering me. My dad told me to count sheep, but that has NEVER worked!

I heard someone saying the other day that doing something logical stops you emoting - to try saying your seven times' table??? I did pass the tip to my kids and they just laughed.

A McClachlan and an Ogilvy but I'm from Yorkshire..!
Years ago i found the Gilchrist Clan..years later i;m told I'm septic!! as in a sept of both the above..which is great because the McClachlans were Scots.from Ireland and the Ogilvies are Picts from Forfar in Angus!..but its my spritual home

I just found a Gilchrist in my tree but didnt associate it with being a scots clan. My lot are the McKerrow clan.
