Sorry just had to share my fantastic news with you all. I am sooooooo excited, so will the rest of my family be when I tell them.

Calm down and start at the beginning.

Many years ago when my brother was in the army he married a young lass. they had a son, separated 2 years later and due to the fact she was germany and not an easy person to get on with we lost touch (being polite).
Last year, my wonderful nephew got in touch, aged 26. I dreamt of that day for a long time.

A couple of years after his divorce my brother married again, this marriage produced 2 daughters but again this sadly fell apart, we kept in touch for a couple of years, then my ex SIL re-married, as her new hubby was also in the Army we eventually lost touch.
15 years later she has just contacted me on face book and I am about to contact the eldest of the girls.
More excitingly is the fact that she is in this country, my beautifull neice in about 400 miles from me. Her mum is in germany and I think she has separated from her second hubby.

My parents will be so excited to know the girls are around.

Thank you

Well I have seen photos of the girls, they are wonderfull. Eldest is a trained surgical nurse, youngest has some medical problems which I only found out about today, and although she can never live alone she is going to be fine and has a Aunt that will love her forever.

Thank you for your good wishes. E-mails flying back and fro to Germany so much we all need to know.
My parents are gob-smacked and excited.
