I'm into crime/thriller novels and most things except for romance and have just read the new Val McDermid book. It was excellent, with good plots and characterisation. For all you peeps out there unable to sleep, why not do what I do and read. At least the time passes very quickly!!!

The Memory Keepers Daughter. Fantastic. I read it on holiday last year and still think about it now. I can't remember who wrote at the moment. It was a favourite of Richard and Judy from tv.

Teresa, I finished that today!! The author is Kim Edwards, enjoyable but not a riveting read.

Just finished Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth, I didn't want it to end.. also A Thousand splendid suns by a Kahled Somebody which I also enjoyed. I absolutely love James Patterson books and Mark Billingham as well. Got a few of Pattersons' ready to take away with me in a weeks time.

I have just finished "The Winding Road Unfolds" A true story from WW1 from one soldiers experience.
Must admit it was hard to get hold of at a reasonable price.
