i dont watch doctor who, but it was on and i thought i know that voice, sat watching and agree thought caatherine tate was very good

Yes I think shes really good.

Although am I the only one who can see the odd character coming out when she is acting sometimes (I watch her face lol )

Ps Ive still to watch Dr Who from last night :o))

I'm glad I'm not alone - have heard she's taking a lot of flak:)

Elaine, I agree that you can sometimes glimpse her comedy characters but not enough to spoil anything I don't think. I reckon she's created a really believable character

lol Uggers, I immediately thought of Gwynne when I saw the title of the thread.

And yes....she's one of my favourites. I warmed to her immediately, must be the red hair lol

Ah so Gwynne's been dissing her elsewhere has she:) I think they failed with the Martha character - she never had a distinct personality but I think Donna is a success. Be interesting to see what happens when Rose shows up again:)

I find her a tad annoying - me and daughter couldn't help saying 'That's a bit of gran coming out' or 'There's Lauren', while we watched it.

She's awful.

I keep waiting for her to say, "Bovvered", Same gestures, same thing she does with her head and same facial expressions as in her TV show.

To paraphrase a famous critic she runs the gamet of emotions from A to A.

They should have employed an actress.

I never watched Catherine Tate's shows very much so maybe I'm just seeing her acting ability and not trying to compare her too much.
