Ime a humble bumble
buisy as a bee
suppose i shouldnt grumble
ime very lucky me
as i flitt flower-to flower
de-fying aero-dy-namics
zinging thro' april showers
and fooling all my critics
hes much to heavy for his wings
i hear the man things cry
that he flies-defies all things
eat humble bumble pie
wisdom droned our bumble bee
belongs to god alone
the simpliest proofe we oft-times see
we see about our home.

The Good Humor man,
Red light, green light.

The corner store.

I'm talkin' bout hide and go seek at dusk.
Sittin' on the porch, Simon Says, Kick the Can,
Lunch boxes with a thermos...
chocolate milk, going home for lunch,
penny candy from the store, jump rope,
hopscotch, doubledutch, butterscotch,
skates with keys, kickball, dodgeball,
Jacks, Red Rover, Mother May I?

Sits
Looking at square shapex box
Grey in colour
Clear screen.
Brain, active
Got to do this, got to do that.

Jet black leather typists chair
Mauled and chewed by teething pup
Glued to behind.
Outside montana clematis overtaking pear tree, garden,
Sunshine hovers
Like a dainty butterfly
Moving slowly like a garden snail
Shadows vanishing
Leaving patterns on dew dropped grass.

She never takes sides
Forgives does not forget
And yet ...
Empathy grows like a seed to a seedling Ascending as tall as a sunflower,
Up, up, up
Life's lessons learned
She cares for others
Shares a hug
Gives solace to those in need
Yet never moves from her jet black leather chair.

Love this but I'm not academic enough to add I'm afraid.
Wish I was though

Go on Helen, have a go!

Just think of something, close eyes imagine it, use those words to describe.

Helen
First name begins with an H
Clicks on threads
From everyone's friend
Kind and caring Rach.

Second letter is an e
Elegant Helen
Orders scrumptious, juicy, mouth-watering melon
When taken out
All dressed up in best attire
As surprise treat
For delicious dinner.

Third letter L
Jingle, jangle,
Hears the sound of
Soft sounding bell.

Fourth letter is an e
Ecstatic, jumping for joy
When her team scores their winning goal
Waves hands in air, shouts, "Oh boy!"

Fourth and final letter is an n
Women can multi-task
Question is,
Can men?!!!

Sure they can just haven't met one yet, lol!

In good humour by way, no offence meant. x

Bless Helen, you so sweet, glad you liked, both names beautiful!

You've sussed me out, I'm known as zanyshani, whizz here, whizz there, on GR and in own life! Gotta be quick to catch me!

If you look to the left, you'll see 'bookmark this', clever?!
Click on that and you'll find it easily.

Okay, brain kicks into gear, hear goes:

Jane

Known as Jane
The first letter of which is a J
Cos she's so lovely,
Always skipping for joy
Clapping hands,
Puts hand in air
Calls out, "Hooray!"

Second letter is an A
Cheerleaders all in a row
Smile, cheer enthusiastically
Hoot loudly on a huge horn
In celebration of the day
That Jane was born!

Third letter is an N
Which in Scottish rhymes with hen
Meaning of which
In English means love
Descending from so very high above.

Last, but not least
Letter is an E
To say dearest Jane
This poem is composed especially
For thee
From moi, that's me!

Written with love! ((((hugs))))x

Ah hun, ((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))

My OH was born in Dunfermline, old capital of Scotland, where Robert the Bruce sat on his throne. Love Scotland, been going since I was nearly 13 - stops o count how many years - too many!

Edinburgh's my favourite, plus Pitlochry where you can see the salmon jumping on their seasonal journey; open air theatres.
Edinburgh cos I love history. x

For Moy, my friend

Her name has such a sweet sound
Initial letter is an M
Forgive me please,
Bit mushy I know but ...
To me she's a diamond,
An extremely rare and precious gem!

After M comes an O
'Onest', (s'cuse me, I can spell!)
So calming, wise, so much fun
Reminds of Seville complete with orange trees.
Crete, beautiful scenery, olive trees
Moy's an absolute hun!

Moy ends with a Y
When you awake in the morn
You run downstairs
Energised, reborn
To your pooter.
Go on GR, find your thread ...
Know without any doubt, without hesitation
Moy will there, waving, saying 'hi'
Wishing everyone a happy day.

Come what may
Moy's my friend
'Til the end. x

Darts, whizzes from thread to thread
Leaves joy, compassion, humour where she lands.
A melodic voice
Soft
Yet like a pianist playing
Totally unaware, has no notion, no idea
How valued she is by others.
