Morning Joyce, poor you, another night of pain and no sleep. Your tablets don't seem to be helping do they, try and get some sleep today, wish I could take the pain away for you.
It's dark here and misty over the valley, miserable.

Hi Dutch,it does sound as though it's time you by passed your doctors ,and went to a walk in center .
After all this time you need to know just what the problem is,and what to do about it.
Believe me ,i know how you feel, what with having to leap out of bed some nights ,and hobble about ,trying to get rid of cramp,or the gnawing pain in the bones bought on by pvd.
Can you not get some Quinine tablets to try ,or have you tried them already?
They are ,i know for treatment of malaria, but they do help a lot with leg pain.
At least ,it does help ,i find to talk about it,as you are doing, and i do hope you find an answer, and some blessed relief.
Hang in there Joyce.Fred,a fellow sufferer xxxx

Not really Joyce, I have to take pain killers just to change dressing, I'll know more when I see doc at hospital on Wed. Going to ask if I can miss this months chemo though as it's an extension of the blisters.
Why aren't you in bed?

Hi Joyce hope you feel better.
Yes Quinine is good for cramp. Also over here we have some tablets called Crampex I find those very good. ( I would check they would agree with your other medication first though)

sounds like ostio arthritis Joyce, what a bummer, one of the most difficult to treat.
My old man [dad ] used to use heat pads which helped a lot, don't know if they would work for you..
Keeping my fingers crossed that your doc' does come up with something new for you.
Fred.

Cramp sounds such a silly ailment but it is so painful and debilitating. I get it in my toes as soon as I lay down and it drives me mad.

I really feel for you with this one.

Take care

Hi Joyce, apparently putting a potato in the bed helps stop cramp lol!

Hope you can get this problem sorted out soon so you don't lose so much sleep.
Take care,
Lizxxx
