I bought a Zannussi washing machine, bought in 1985, passed away noisely 2000. I have bought 3 different makes since then and non of them wash the clothes properly, this last 1 Beumatic conked on me 11 months in, man couldn't get there quick enough to mend it but when it broke again after the 12 months I had to wait 6 weeks for the bloke to come out, then it went again and waited 4 weeks for him to come out. I will never buy 1 of those again or any of their products. Their customer care service tell me there is only 1 engineer for my area and he is so busy, well that tells me a lot.

:)))))) LOL

Doesn't anybody else find that then?

particularly light-bulbs (No, not those horrid long-life things that make everyone look like they've got jaundice, that is if you can see them in the gloom!).

Well we've had Zanussi Upright freezer and undercounter fridge for so long I can't really remember! I suppose certainly over 20 years - maybe 25....... and (fingers crossed) never had any problems)

Also they were ''seconds'' - we've got a place here that sells 'dented' (usually on a side that you can't see once it's fitted in
and you'd never know)..... brand new inners, but lot cheaper.

Mind you I have a theory that many goods have built-in obselence these days, because a lot of more recent purchases have packed up within 5 years! People now don't expect or even want, things to last ''for ever''!

I prefer the Bosch, have Bosch fridge/freezer, Bosch Dishwasher and Bosch Washing Machine.

Was so impressed with the Bosch Washing Machine, bought the other appliances because of it.

Roxanne you beat me to it. My Zanussi washer of 20 years has been excellent but I replaced it with a Bosch 3 weeks ago as I relegated it to the garage to have an integrated one in the kitchen. I'll still use it for really dirty items as it's been a workhorse.

Would you recommend them ???

.

Am looking for 'undercounter' fridge & freezer for when i refurb my kitchen and quite like the look of Zanussi - they seem less 'flimsy' looking than some makes.
