Ours is called Fred too.

He lives behind the fire and comes out at night, he walks around with a limp because he's only got seven legs!

He's the only one allowed to stay in ...all the rest get evicted.

For all you shameless killers. His name is Fred and I,m sure he's got a dear wife and family blissfully residing behind the fridge.
Are you sure he should be "Daily Mailed?"

Happy days

Oh Lynn you've just made me laugh.

My daughter told me once that Sharks dont blink and I asked her how she knew an she said 'I read it on the back of a penguin'

I rolled around laughing for hours.....and still do!

Hi Harry,

I never kill I spider but dont like them running amoc in my house. (especially when Im asleep). There was a huge one last night on the landing! I always ask hubby to throw them outside. I am sure they'll find a warm hole to retreat to.

Alternatively, take your spider and place it next to the fire, they usually scuttle in it or under it. Make sure fire not lit!

Sorry Harry, but i just have to " get rid " lol

put him outside and he will come back in, and crawl on me when im asleep, or maybe worse, maybe i will swallow him, ( a human in his lifetime will swallow 10 spiders while asleep ) found that interesting bit of info on a penguin wrapper lol

Leave him for the wife Harry !!!!

meanie spider killer Lynn xxxxx

Death by Daily Mail....how dreadful.

I'd leave it and hope he moves before your wife spots him:)

I was once told if you put house spiders outside they have a nervous breakdown.

How anyone would know this I have no idea lol

Kind of a dear Marje message.
He is high up in the kitchen, doing nobody any harm. Unless absolutely necessary I don,t believe that I have the right to kill any living creature.
My dilemna is this. If my wife spots him, he will be dead from a swipe by a Daily Mail.
If I capture him, putting him outside or in the warmer shed, probably consigns him to a slow death.
In the words of the old comedian "what would you do, chums"?
