Me and Hubbie have just returned from 24 hours away together....first one in 9 years lol! I have never been apart from my youngest so I was a little nervous.

We went to Broughton in Furness and stayed in a lovely Victorian guest house with a resident black lab and the owner was genial and relaxed. He is also an antique dealer so there were little knick nacks everywhere.....old mirrors, pictures, dressing table items, etc,

The view out of the window was of rolling hills, two little donkeys and a field of cows. It was bliss!! Do any of you know Broughton.....?

Coming back down to earth now !!

Hope everyone is well,

Caz xxx

Hello Ann, the little ones went to Mum and Dad for the first time and had a fabulous time.....lots of home made food and Mum and Dad took them to Mc Donalds, first time ever for them....William had to show them the routine lol!!

We had our evening meal in The Black Bull, one of Broughtons many lovely pubs, it was early bird so reasonable, then a lovely peaceful walk!!

Today we went to Wrynose, Grasmere and back to Ulverston,

Hope you and Tony are well,
