I don't think I am destined to go and see my friend :0(

First the threat of having to go into hospital to stay til the birth still hangs over her.....in which case there's no point me going as I will only see her for an hour or two visiting......... will know more after a scan this afternoon.

NOW my car exhaust is making blowing noises so it's looking ropey for tomorrow unless I can get it fixed double quick.

I'm gutted :0(

Exhausts can usually be fixed quickly.................have you a local tyre and exhaust centre near you?

:( got a kwik fit near you?

Or maybe it justs needs a bandage thing ... not from a first age kit! My dad had one put on his exhust in minutes a few years back - as a make do till the right things were in stock or something.

Kwikfit,,,,do on spot repairs,,if they have your model in stock,,,

I just phoned the local kwik fit......they are going to *ramp it up* at 2 o'clock......though they said they were very busy and may not be able to do it today if it does need doing.....possibly early tomo !!!

Dad is on the phone to a few local garages to see if he can have a grovel and get it done asap.

My car has run like a dream ......slight threat of a long journey and he's sulking !!! xx

LOL Maddie. Yeah it's the big car......the Freelander. Seems it has not only got a hole in the exhaust but the timing (or something???) is out too which means it's eating petrol ........there was a good chance I'd still make it with luck but now she's in again it's a no no.

Gutted doesn't cover it. xx
