Have read that some people think pylons can increase cancer risk but never heard of them 'scrabble peoples brains'. although tragic think its more a coincidence than anything more sinister...we had a spate of people falling from train doors (the old slam lock ones) around these parts 25 years ago so much that it became know as the 'Tamworth Triangle' people said the tracks were to blame but again just a dreaful coincidence

it is a thought I suppose Dave - I live in Cardiff, not too far from Bridgend but have no idea if they have more than the usual number of pylons but I'm sure when more posters come on this evening someone from Bridgend or closer to, will tell you

I see the area is referred to as Bridgend county in some reports.
I didn't realise there was a county. I do know Bridgend area a little but thought all the terrible deaths were in and around the town.?

If you google

bridgend pylons suicides

you'll see that the theory has been mooted and bruited about, silly though it is.
