Oh bought lemon sole from Waitrose today for dinner.I cut the plastic cover and was nearly knocked out by the stink.Have put it in the outside bin.Had to use air freshener it was so bad. |

We bought a bacon joint from Sainsburys once. It smelt worse & worse as it was roasting. |

Get on to Waitrose,Their Fish is usually excellent,They should send some one to collect it and give a refund +. **M**. |

Mind you, we never got any more feedback, so didn't know what the problem was. (Although we were refunded). I wish that we had contacted the Public Health Dept. |

I had this happen once with Sainsbury's fish. I sealed the fish in 2 plastic bags & froze it before ordering a takeaway. |

Merlin it is in the black bin ,for collection tomorrow.If I took it out I couldn't have it in the house,and if I wrapped it up and left it outside a fox or something would have it.It STINKS.The wild life for miles around would sniff it out !!!!! |

years ago when Carrefour was a supermarket over here I bought a leg of lamb - it reeked when I opened it up so I took it back and was informed it should have been taken off sale for burgers!!!! |
