Hi Gwyn,

I see what you mean. I was refering to when the general thread is showing rather than clicking on names. I just hover over a name to get the number in the bar at the bottom of my page.

If I click on someone's name, their number shows in the address bar for me, no matter which thread they post on.

Gwyn,

The number in the address bar is the number of the thread and not the person who started the thread.

For example the number of this thread is 1070815 but the number of the originator of the thread is 4688561 - Hazel.

yes it used to work for me as well
untill i had trouble with my computer .
can only think that the good looking, tall dark haired
hulk who mended my puter lost it for me .

It is working for me if I just hover over the name, it comes up bottom left hand corner where it says http etc.

Right click on the name then click on properties and then you'll see it.

I always look in the address bar towards top of page.. It shows there.
