The reason for ordering certs NOW is WDYTYA? always causes a long delay. I waited about 3 weeks for 1 last time that programme was shown

I am a novice on a computer [Christmas Present from my children .]

I am 59 ,never even thought i could even switch one on but i have started my family tree ,and i have had certs on line one of which is a brother of my mum i had his B/C and his D/C he died in ww2 1944 age 23.
And through G R i found out he was buried in Rangoon.

If you want some certs I would suggest that you order them now (£7 from the GRO)


There's no lady stood there saying "I've found this cert for you", most of us order online & wait about a week but THAT programme always causes long delays

Just hope the people i am interested in will give it a go again if they lost interest.
I did n`t know you could find out so much, or were able to get cert until i saw WDYTYA.

And the new series of WDYTYA will get a few more popping back on here to kickstart their old trees too:)

Dont' give up. I have recently had answers from several people who I contacted two years ago. It seems they have only just rejoined after initially giving up hope of a contact.

Hello Martha..........sometimes a person can answer a message weeks later...........don't give up hope of getting a reply.

Hi, i just want to make a comment about doing my family tree and the hot matches
. I have been given names, and people have got back to me who have had maybe only one name in common, that we have not been able to match but were kind enough to reply and vice versa.

I also have two people, i don`t know if they are related but they have a lot of the same names of one particular family that could answer a lot of questions for me but they have not replied. I thought the reason people used the family tree site and got hot matches was to get info of family from the past. maybe i am wrong.
