Isle of Man weather is similar to ours Roslyn,so it depends really what you'd like to be doing.

There are some nice beaches and beautiful countryside,it's a great island and very relaxing there.

I have an Uncle and cousins who live in Bride.
We flew there, but found it very expensive.

Ros been there the last 5 years went for a three day break liked it so much found a lovely cottage south end of island and have now stayed there 4 times.

Can highly recommend it lovely countryside, fab walks, good museums and places of interest. Nice theatre too.

Friendly helpful people and the icing on the cake great grandparents lived there in retirement and are buried there. Records centre very helpful.

We flew and hired a car but you can get combined rail/bus/tram tickets but may be too late for horsedrawn tram think they finish in Sept.

In the five times I have been only had one day of rain on each holiday and most of those were only showers so we were very lucky!

Lots of good places to eat too.

ROS. I WENT IN 1966, WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG

I ALWAYS SAID I WOULD GO BACK, BUT HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD IT.

I ALWAYS REMEMBER THE PALM TREES THAT WERE OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT.

THEN THERE WERE SO MANY SHOE SHOPS AND PUBS.
WE DID THE TRIP UP SNAE (SP) FELL MOUNTAIN AND THE TOUR ROUND THE ISLAND.

LOVELY PLACE

The Isle of Man is a beautiful place (if we get the nice weather!). I have happy memories there, we went for our honeymoon. Also took my young daughter there when I was pregnant with my son. We stayed in a small hotel in Douglas.
Would love to go back there but unfortunately it's cheaper to go abroad these days.
