So glad your family weren't hurt at all, altho must be shocked and upset.

I am surprised the lad came to apologise, but who knows, the shock of what he nearly did, could maybe make him mend his ways. have never known of a thief coming back to apologise. Let's hope it brings him to his senses and he never does anything so stupid again and risks anyone elses life!

also the theif also was alowed to contiune threateneing and harrasing our daughter, and trying to intimidate me, however when approached by my hubby his mother called police,
i think we logged 14 seperate occasions when he intimidated/threatend our daughter,
he still winces when he sees my hubby

A great relief that they are all okay, but a terrible shock for all of them.

Still whatever happens with this case at least my girl and the little ones are all ok.......I just hope he dosen't carry on until he does kill someone :(

I know what you mean Julie........but I hope not....his finger prints are all over the car and both my daughter and the lady who phoned the police will give statements.
I wonder if he was inside for driving offences before ?

Daughter is waiting to give a statement to police but they have got the car back and I guess they know just who he is.

My daughter just phoned me up.........she left my house about an hour ago with the little ones and has only just got home , she only lives 10 minutes up the road.
Apparently all three of them nearly got knocked down by a maniac in a stolen car , that mounted the pavement and missed them by a few inches.........a lady passer by phoned the police.
The driver went round the corner ( I think the car had conked out as daughter said it was smoking ) he approached her to say " sorry ".........!!! He said he had just been released from prison and has no licence.........then he ran away..........he is 18 years old .

My beautiful daughter and two beautiful grand children .....I thank God they are all unscathed ......and that the young idiot is soon back behind bars !!!
