One of my sisters was sent to fetch a long stand from another ward when she was doing her training....... a friend of hers was sent for a fallopian tube... that was 30- odd years ago, mind!!

We weren't sent to the shos for silly things... but my dad would send us around the house for daft things, sometimes... like a pair of odd socks when I was about 6, lol

Love

When my brother was a young teen in his first job as an apprentice to car mechanics, they sent him off up the road to the petrol garage armed with a large bucket and told him to ask it to be filled with O2!

Little bro, eager to please on his first day, did exactly that - and has never lived it down since! LOL...
