She was originally known as 'little m' (little mate) and lived on our street for over a year after her 'owner' threw her out. She was at deaths door when we took her in. I 'had words' with the guy who happily allowed us to take her on. She had almost every tooth removed and was diagnosed with thyroid problems. We medicated her for a while but it was too distressing for her and made her violently sick. We made the descision to stop her meds. This was several months ago, and she has slowly been going down hill. 'Little m' - Jazmine now, has come to the end of her journey here on earth, it's just a matter of days (or i will have to take her) until she leaves for the rainbow bridge.
Please send out nice, happy thoughts for her, and pray her journey is swift and soon.
Thankyou.
Lou xxx

Thankyou Alice - i'm hoping it's going to be peacefullly in her sleep in the next couple of days. I hate having to go the vets...

Obviously i won't allow her to suffer for any length of time.

Oh Lou :o((

You have wrapped her in love and kindness and she will depart from this earth wrapped securely in that same blanket.

Thinking of you at this sad time

Lou, we had a cat called Jazzy who we adopted from the Blue Cross several years ago. 3 years ago she was diagnosed with and over-active thyroid, which we had operated on. Unfortunately after we had moved out here, the problem re occurred and we had her put to sleep. Very distressing for such a lovely cat who had such a great time out here.
Your Jazzy is so lucky to have found you to take care of her.

Thinking of you and Jazzy. You have given her love and a wonderful home and as she passes will be surrounded by love. You'll meet again at Rainbow Bridge. Remember the good times and all the pleasure she's given you. She knows how much you love her. AL

I love the thought of the rainbow bridge - it makes me smile to think of all mine running around together again, although when i go there will be quite a few to pick up ;-)

She's slept most of the day, but i've noticed her breathing has changed. I may take her tomorrow as i would hate to think of her suffering.
Thankyou all for thinking of her. She's a very special cat who's had a very hard life. At least she'll go, as has been said, surrounded by love and cuddles.

Have been crying since i sat down :-(

It's so sad when they go isn't it?! I'm thankful i had the chance to show her a true, loving home where she could live out her final year. I think thats my reason on this earth, and if it is then i am truley grateful for such a privilage!

Lou, thinking about you and Jazzy and hope she can just go to sleep and gently pass over the bridge.

You have given her the best year of her life probably so I know you will give her all the love as she leaves you.

Morning Lou.... I have just seen this... I hope little Jazmine has slipped peacefully across Rainbow Bridge now.

It is so hard isn't it... but we know it is the kindest gift, when it is their time.

Go chase butterflies again, little Jazmine.

Love
