Thankyou for your lovely messages, Katie starts full days in 3 weeks, until then its just the afternoons.
Her 1st day was a success in her words its super cool nanny.

Aaawww Sandra....bet you will shed a tear along with your daughter.

I am sure Katie will love school but you are right....when they start school you suddenly have to start sharing them with many different people and they seem to grow up over night.

Oh Sandra how time flies, i expect her mum will have a little tear in her eye when she leaves her, i think we all do or did in my case lol.
My eldest grandson will be 21 in October.

I hadn't realised that Katie was now school age. I do remember your announcements, but hadn't noticed how time had flown.
I hope she has a lovely first day at school and enjoys meeting lots of new friends and learning about so many interesting things.

Its hard to believe i put up a thread to say i was expecting my 1st grandchild 5 years ago, then a thread for her birth February 2004.
Today its her 1st day at school at 9am she will be the beautiful grandchild i have loved for 4 1/2 years taking her 1st steps into society. A gentle funny little girl who makes me get tears in my everytime i see her. (as do all my 5 grandchildren) when she leaves school at midday she will be changed forever.
As most parents know you drop off an Angel at the School Gates that says Yes mum & they return a Devil that says No for the next 10 years. LOL

I hope she has alot of enjoyable years at school learning knowledge to help her through her future.
