This question has been asked many times, but I dont think anyone has actually been able to find the answer. The only thing that looks possible is the option to upgrade to Gold at membership renewal time, but not sure about that.

Keith I can already do all the things you mention on my full membership, but still need to pay per view.
So where do i go to set it up as i have been to charges pages but it only gives me the option to pay £5 per time..

I dont use this site at all now for looking up. I use Ancestry they are brilliant. Its a lot of outlay in the begining but you will find that you save money over the year.

You could email GR & ask if you can upgrade but beware, if you will not be able to view any Scottish censuses

Why do you want to upgrade?
Gr is a very expensive way of paying for look ups. There have been lots of threads in the past few weeks suggesting that you would be far better off using your money for for Ancestry or Find my Past

From others opinions ive read on here, they seem to think its not worth it.

Why not ask for a few opinions before you commit yourself ?

From the charges page:-

If you choose to upgrade to Gold membership, this costs £34.95 for 6 months. You will be able to cnotact other members, link up to view other members' trees when they invite you to do so, post photos on your family tree and add messages to the message boards. You will also have UNLIMITED access to all of our records section (i.e. BMD records, census records and military records).

I was going to upgrade my full account to Gold, but the help pages dont give any links to where to go to do this,
Could anyone point me in the right direction , and btw how much does it cost for 6 months.
