I have put my heating on - its on to stay now - unless we have a real heat wave. I put it on for 3 hours in the morning and then its timed to go on at 4.30 - 9.30, when it gets really cold (if) then it will be extended probably 3.30 - 9.30 - cannot stand coming in from work to a cold house brrhhh!

But OH does not feel the cold and insists on leaving the living room door open when he stands by the back door having his cigarette - all the heat goes out of the room. He then wonders why I have my fleece on and gives him a filty look lol.

I have a wonderful "snuggle rug" that comes down in the winter months as well for around my knees - I have also been known to have a hot water bottle underneath as well - warm as toast - bliss. lol

My husband doesn't feel the cold, I do, but have managed without the heating on so far. I just get a jumper on or when watching TV I sit curled up under a blanket.
I hate being cold so when it gets colder we'll put the heating on, but it's realistic to keep warm with extra clothing first.
