Just put a pair of curtains in the washing machine - it said Dry Clean ony - made of polyester - see what happens!!!

So long as its a coolish wash you can get away with it ....fingers crossed!!!

They should be alright Ann, I put my vertical blinds in aswell, on a very cool wash, and let them drip dry while hanging.

Be careful if you put em in a tumble drier!

they may crinkle up....

I wash everything! If they shrink badly you can always make Daff
a snazzy hat and matching knickers :-))

that's a thought Sue - you are so kind always thinking of others!!! I hardly ever tumble dry Bob!! I shall let you know what happens - I reckon they'll be OK but then I'm a supreme optimist - I even think I'm going to win the lottery big time one day!! Simple ainlt I!!!!

Well you will no doubt be pleased to hear they are out on the line drying and they are perfect - see, it pays to take chances in life!!!!

I have washed lots of things, that say dry clean only. as long as it is on the right programme.

Have bras that say hand wash only, but always put on delicates.

Even washed two wool blazers, (in hot weather these) that came out OK, as long as pressed well.

As Ann of GG says, pays to take a chance in life.
