Some people are in a far worse position, the house next to where they're living now has been up for sale for a year now. They had it sold once but the other buyer's mortgage fell through, they had to pull out of buying their dream house. That said, they've not reduced the price in all that time, so they're trying to sell at an unrealistic price I think. |

Liz, such a shame things have dragged on this long, and hope all works out with the buyer. Awful that the price has had to be reduced already, less for your parent's nest egg. |

Someone is very interested in my parents house and is speaking to the Mortgage people this week. This is the first real interest since April and Mum and Dad can't afford to keep paying the bills on it. So please keep your fingers crossed that in this difficult market the woman will get her mortgage and sell her own house. |
