Hi

here is a site that offer 50% off

www.youreableshop.co.uk

have a look on google,

I just put in Plaster Paris Plastic Covers/protectors

loads come up.

perhaps a mild antihistimine at night may help with the itching and help him sleep, depending on his age.

I rememember the itching well when i broke my wrist,

how i loved my knitting needle!

Bless him,

my daughter had the plastic elastic sleeve, when she broke her arm,
think the hospital brokens bones unit had a leaflet,
with phone numbers etc.
We were going on holiday and she went swimming with hers,
did get some funny looks though!

If all else fails and the ready made ones are too expensive maybe she could approach a store who have things delivered in large, thick plastic bags about having some of them. That way she could fashion her own. Electrical stores might be a good bet.

Can anyone help me please?

A friend's young son has just had both legs put in special plaster casts. The strange thing is, the hospital don't sell the plastic covers she needs so that he can have a bath.

They recommended Boots the Chemist, who only sell adult versions. After a few days of searching high and low everywhere, she's at her wits end, bless her. The price is so high with nothing available for children, only adults.

Am so hoping someone here will be able to help.

Thank you
