My membership of findmypast is up in January and I was going to ask about ancestry cos I've had a few viewing problems recently on fmp. Sounds like they're all much of a muchness, as they say.

A couple of months back when I tried the new Ancestry search I found it hopeless.

Once I reverted to the original format everything was fine. Some hours during the evening it is incredibly slow though!

Don't say the Ch*****te word to loudly or you will have my OH round at your house like a shot.

I have not had much trouble with Ancestry since changing my Antivirus and stuff to Avast,and its free which is always good.

Sorry if this is the wrong board, never posted before, but I know a lot of us have been having trouble viewing stuff on Ancestry over the last few weeks, me included.

I emailed them a week ago when the records I was searching disappeared and a message came up "No Matches", theyve just managed their usual reply of "Clear your cache" so I've sent back to them asking if they actually read my first email and how a lot of us are really fed up with this etc. If and when I get a reply I'll let you know.

Sorry for rambling, I do that when I'm cross, so I'm off now to calm down with a hot drink and a bar of chocolate I think. Anyone else want one?
