3. positivity - the quality of being encouraging or promising of a successful outcome

We all know people who when we have been in their company (whether that is in person or on the phone or on here ) leave us feeling depressed or unsettled...

and the reverse is true, that some people energise you , make you smile and have such an infectious positive manner that you can believe anything is possible both for them and for you :)

My 'auntie' is one such, she is in her 70s, but sounds just like she did when in her 30s...to talk with her is to laugh and be hopeful...even though she has had trouble in her life as we all do and cannot change what is ( health wise etc) she deals with it better , simply because of her being able to see humour and hope in all situations.

I am lucky to have had several people like that close to me throughout my life (my mum certainly...) and several people on here do the same for me when I read their posts ....Uggers is one, Jean is another, Little Ann (is a star x) ...I hope they won't mind me naming them here ...there are many more also...I am sure we all know who they are :)

So , 'lead with your chin' as my mum used to say, hope for the best but deal with the worst with humour and hope... :)) and try and be 'positive'...which sometimes means taking a risk and grabbing an outside chance with both hands !

Oh yes if i didnt deal with things without a bit of humour now, i would be in a box now.

I have had to learn the hard way, And do not want to go back down that road again.

So try and see another side of things.
