I'm making my traditional Christmas fudge, the whole house smells of sugar and vanilla. yummy

Next batch will be chocolate fudge.

I use to make that when kids were young.
I just LOVE fudge.

Oh sounds nice Mrs Blue Eyes.

Fudge is a little too Sweet for me as I am not a Sweet Tooth but my husband just loves Fudge.

I love the smell of Vanilla it is such a fresh smell

mmm, smells absoluuuuuuuuuuutely mmmm, scrumptious!

Used to make that soft mint sweet too, can't think of it's name, melted in your mouth ... anyone remember please?

Hi all, sis i think the sweet you mean was called peppermint something , cant remember what i know what you mean x

i remember my mum making toffee with us when we was kids,
could never bite it lol xx

MY kids used to like me making Rocky Road
Marshmallows, Nuts, Chocolate, Butter and Nestle's Milk


So easy and they loved it

LOL do you guys want a tissue for the dribbling.

I make 3 different types of vanilla fudge, so sugary it practically rots the teeth out of your head.

I'm think of a nut one, depends how much time I have left.

Hubby likes peppermint creams, never tried marshmallows are they difficult..

Just got all my tins prepared for tomorrows baking stint.
When my mum was alive, I used to make her hand-made chocolates for Christmas, and put them in a fancy box. She loved them, and the fact I had gone to so much trouble.
It must be in the genes. Since doing the family tree, I found two gt.gt. aunts were confectioners, and their father, and his father before him, were Master Bakers.

I am sitting here eating some of my economy one, it's the best I've ever made.
NOW anyone know a good dentist.. just waiting for the sugar rush to hit.
