How is everyone today.
I got myself one of those mobile air con units today from B&Q its blinking brilliant.
Will stick it on in the bedroom before I turn in and the room will be lovely and cool.
Ended up going to Reading shopping, went into the B&Q store there, its massive, next to the football ground.
Went into a mall called the Oracle and had lunch by the canal, brilliant day.

Dave, The Sloane ranger sends her love....lol god shes so bloody posh..lolol.

Hello Foggy, how nice to speak to you again. It has been a long time since the Victoria meet, but it was nice to meet you.
I don't know where abouts the Twickenham meet is. I'm afraid that once I leave Victoria station I am lost.

What a shame we are losing Agatha, just when we get to know her.

Oh Pauline, I hope you warned the venue where you were meeting up with Maz and YG, or knowing you lot once you started yacking they would have thrown you all out. After all, you are all members of Nutlodge, and have to be nutty, like on here to have fun.

I must go, have been cajoled onto playing darts for the mens team tonight, and I must try and beautify myself. ( I haven't given myself much time have I,as we have to leave by 7.45)

George I am suprised they had no sold out of those air condition units it is a tall square one you brought. I have the air fan one and it has been lovely having that near me all day.

Funny enough they had sold out of those upright fan things.

I have been lucky, as a lady friend of old foggs has been driving me, shes quite nice really if a little posh...lol I have to stop myself laughing sometimes when she comes out with things, a right Chelsea set....lol

It has been raining hear since about 6 oclock this morning. and I mean rain the car park is like a lake at the moment I could sail a boat on it a model one that is. still the garden did need it. the watering with a can at night didnt do much good.

I wonder if the food prices will come down. no excuse for everywhere is bone dry on the other hand they might say we had too much rain. and then ban the hose pipes.

I forgot to tell you Marilyn........... about the 2 people I met yesterday............ Maz lives about 25 miles away from me and came here on the bus, YG lives about 80 miles away and needed to get 2 trains. We nearly got sucked under an express train as it went whizzing through the station because we didn't realize we were standing too near to the track.

You had fun and games then Pauline , it does give you a start when one of the trains whizzes by you and you dont expect it.

I thought Marilyn Knew our Stephen has gone sailing for three weeks. little devil he is.

George what did you do a pub zimm frame crawl. LOL

I am sick to death of getting phone calls from Indians. I am getting so many these days half of them dont speak english and it is hard to understand what they are saying the others always seem to have people in the back ground making a hell of a noise. I had one ten minutes ago he was chatting away. I said speak english please I am not understanding a wrod you are saying. your phone keeps breaking down. then I hear in the back ground lots of voices I think he must have been in a room and they were all making phone calls. I said to him just before I hung up the phone. "where are you phoing from MARS "?
My son said they get paid for calling people even if they dont get any
buiness out of it.

Been raining most of the day but at least it's a little cooler.

Rita I get a lot of calls about debt and loans, they are recorded. If I get any calls with a foriegn voice I say no thank you and put the phone down. You have to be so careful cos some times they are scams.

What a lovely day it has turned out after the rain this morning, nice warm sunshine now.

Got my haircut today, really needed it, not so scruffy now...lolol.

Rita, the Chelsea lady is old Foggs friend, a really lovely kind woman, I know I call her the Sloane ranger...lol, thats because she talks like one.
I see you have relations in Chelsea, Willesden, Kilburn and Hackney.
I know those places well, I come from Paddington, next to Kilburn and Willesden.
Old Foggs lived in Chelsea before he came to live in Winchester.

GRMarilyn, I would have gone to cheer MO, but she is from Kent, miles away...lol.

Pauline, lol, no didn't go to the pub with my slippers on...lolol

Rita, no zimmer pub crawl...lol. have been trying to cut down going to the pub, becoming expensive now.

The sun has just come out for the first time today. I woke last night and it was pouring down and didn't stop until lunchtime.
Been a bit down for the last few days but don't really know why. Trying to cheer myself up by thinking about my holiday. Not too long now. :-D :-D
Youngest granddaughter made me laugh today though. I must ressurect my 'out of the mouths of babes thread' and add it.
