Hi everyone I tried getting onto this site it has driven me carzy
why this site keeps getting this trouble makes me wonder if the gremlins are at work? Shelly loved the picture of you son camping in your front room. I thought it was wonderful.
George I love to watch the sailing from Portland Bill I saw the racing there last year they had the childrens race with all different coloured sails
the adults sailed later on.
It was such a hot day as well.

Bit dull at the moment but it is supposed to brighten up later.

Off to the shops with my youngest this morning she is shopping for her holiday so I need to put the reins on her spending, if necessary.

We have the youngest , her husband and his Mum and Grandma coming to dinner tomorrow, so I just need some fresh veg.
Out to friends tonight, so no cooking today.

you can get on any of the others just this one thread that is hvaing this
problem it does not make sense to me why this one and no other. I did email them but had no reponse. perhaps they dont like me. ?

anyway hope everyone has a good day today. we have the sun here at the moment ????? I woke at 6. and made a cup of tea went back to bed and read. until 7.30.

Morning all.
Feeling pretty shattered at the moment, we were babysitting baby Lilly last night. She was a little angel, and went straight to sleep this time after her last bottle. Phew that was a blessing,after the last escapade with her..

We are off to a silver wedding anniversary celebration today. Confusion reigns though, as we have to be at our local R.C church for 3p.m,but we are not sure if they are having a blessing done, or just a celebration in the church hall.
Sounds exciting (NOT) the invite is from 3p.m till 8p.m.
Surely if it's just a party to celebrate, they would have held it in the evening.
The invitation was not very explicit.
Well I will let you know tomorrow how it goes, you never know of it's that
good, I may be back here by 3.45. ;-)

Mo...I would have thought that invitation involved a blessing in the church first, some RC do have a have a short Mass said sometimes...this I only know as my Mother & Father had a mass said on all her main anniversary's.

Morning everyone, its lovely and sunny here in Cambridgeshire, I went to Essex yesterday to view properties but none were what we wanted, we did like a couple of seaside places though, so we will keep looking at what properties come up.
Off to the caravan today, Oscar is sitting near the back door waiting to go, he wont move until we do.
The venison farm is up the road to me Maddie, Its lovely when they have young ones there, they are so lovely.

I go cold when people tell me they are cooking Venison. it is bad enough cooking full grown animals but when it comes down to Veal and things like that it is a definate no no to me, but then I am not a big meat eater.

A place I use to eat out with 6 of my friends (we went out every four weeks ) they had an Ostrict farm. you went into the restaurant seeing these things running about in a wired encloser I think the Place was called" The Prior" on the way to Lowerstoft. four of my friends ordered this for their meal all said they had enjoyed it one said it was a bit strong. they asked me to try it no way could I do that.

Mo that does sound like the church blessing followed by food.not all these hold parties in the evening. many reasons they dont. people coming from far away long drive back. people working. maybe the church hall was booked for something else for the evening. later on.
anyway hope it all goes well.

Well I enjoyed the shopping. I got some things for myself too !!! A new gypsy skirt, half price, been watching out for one for a few summers and they went out of fashion. So I had it, couldn't pass it over. Some toiletries and bits for my next holiday and oh a lovely leather weekend bag. 60% off so a bargain.
I hope hubby thinks so too.
My daughter got all her things and spent a bit but not tooo much. So she is happy.

Only disappointment was I did the washing before we went out and hung it out. Well it tpped. Huge thunder clouds and puddles so big on our way home. Well needless to say the washing is dripping on the line though the sun is shinning now !!!

I have made my lasagne or should I say 2 of them as I have invited another two from the family 8in total .

Been sitting in the garden just gazing at the field seeing the pheasants that will be no longer be there in November (The Shooting Season) and spotted a couple of baby bunnies with white tails ...LOL

G & T went down a treat. Pete had a beer with nibbles .

Venison is quite nice Maddie we have a pub here that's does a good venison meal.
I have never cooked it myself , but eaten it.

Once again trying to get on this site has been a nightmare. I dont know what else to do. I have emailed and they have not even replied which is unusually.

This afternoon I sat down to watch a couple of TV films why do they film these in the dark, you see outlines but who the hell they are you have no idea.?
the other film was dark but you did get light now and again. I wondered if
when they were making these films they had a blackout LOL

I was reading about the women who is coming into East Enders. Polly Perkins is coming in as Dot Cottons sister Rose she was in Eldorado which was axed 18 years ago.
I wonder how long she will last.?

I am a happy chappy today, got my new mobile, ( washed the other one, forgot to check the pockets when I washed my Jeans, had a full go in the machine on hot ) :-S :-S
Do you know, mobiles stop working when you wash them in a washing machine...lol.
And I am off on my hols. son is trying to book flights today.

Yeah, I know they are, used to have one.LOL. and she was high maintenance, as soon as the big wages stopped coming in through my accident she left.
