I'm still here as well Marilyn, had to change to the nz site to be able to post though.

I'll have to be going soon or it'll be time to come back by the time I get there.

I penciled my eyebrows in for years but got sick of them rubbing off when I was playing sports - so I got them tattooed on. Haven't had to bother with them for about 10 years now.

Wonder why they're growing back, maybe it's something to do with our age. Hope I don't get any other facial hair................... don't fancy a beard!

I'm still here too ..LOL

Oh I never fancied them tattooed....do they look real ?

I do have two facial hairs that just need plucking,but I'm waiting for them to get fed up with being plucked .....but they wont go away they keep coming back .LOL

Now I gotto go now as I'm due at the salon at 1pm.

I'm back from Rehabilitation, the physio made me sit on a chair and breath from the diaphram today, she kept saying she could still see my chest moving aswell as my diaphram, its not as easy as it looks.
going to get back to the family tree now.

Just poped in to say I have had trouble getting onto friendly once again and you get another notice come up now, which tells you to go back on the arrow and try again fi that does not work to go HELP and let them know

why is it this thread only that it is happening too thats what bugs me.?

I renched my back this morning pushing my shopping trolley as I passed my window I pushed it too and forgot there is an incline outside I saw my trolley taking off on its own tryed to get it before it ran into the car park and in doing so renched my back, which pulled a muscle in my leg and BUM boy is it sore. I should not be let out on my own.


If anyone reads this and knew Reg Baron (he married one of the Lee family from Cardiff. my side of the family ) he died aged 64 of postate cancer. I could not understand why I had not heard from him I kept emailing him and in the end I wrote to his wife, it came as a shock. he was such a nice man.really brave.he died in May
Regs family came from Scotland. so if Marion, or Katherine or Kate read this. it is to let you know why Reg has not been on the boards.
I know they read this from time to time but make no comment

Me and the old boy have been out gallivanting again...lol, not really, just been to see one of his friends who lives at Bray, really lovely place near Maidenhead.
Called to see his friend and then we all went to a place called The Waterside Inn for a drink and some lunch, ( little bit too posh for my liking)..lol
Linda probably knows it seeing as I believe she mentioned she is from Windsor which is not too far away.

We are having trouble getting any flights, probably because of the holiday time, so son suggested we drive to Spain.??? is he loosing his mind....lol
Told him to keep trying...lol.

Anyway.... hope you've all had a cracking day.

Yes I do Know The Waterside Inn, never been there but has good reputation. Rather expensive, think it has something to do with Michel Roux?

I finally got my special paint, and a basic lesson from a nice young girl who was using the product in the workshop. So I'm all set to have a go tomorrow.

been a lovely sunny day down here. Makes me feel good when the sun shines.
Youngest daughter had an accident at work yesterday and we had a call to say she was in A&E. She had impaled her hand on a large pair of tweezers, they were stuck in about an inch and a half from the outside of her hand to the palm. Disgusting :-0 :-0 She didn't half shriek when they were removed. She's signed off for a week at least :-(

Make sure you open the windows when you're painting Linda, you don't want to start going dizzy again.

Rita, I didn't think anyone could do so much damage to themselves by pushing a shopping trolley. Hope you aren't in too much pain. I had to laugh at your post though because you missed the comma out between BUM and boy, looked like you were talking about something completely different. :-D

Yep Linda is is on the dear side, wont tell you what the bill was....lol. still it is a lovely place......have no idea who owns it.

Yes Pauline, he dose, either him or one of the girls, I don't drive anymore.
We don't really go out that much as old Foggs helps out once or twice a week at some archaeology place..lol...he dont dig or do anything heavy, just washes things or records things, things that are light work. boring if you ask me...lol.

Maddie I forgot to tell you....seeing you asked, about my niece. she is not well at all, she's now receiving psychiatric treatment and is still in hospital, everyone is upset as she is such an honest lovable lady, and her husband is one hell of a guy.

We are all just waiting to see how the medication affects her , she would be mortified if she really knew where she really is.
She's still very vacant ....so fingers crossed for her its going to be a long time.

Pat I see the footie is on tonight....it was on our local news tonight.

My ex used to go and have some kind of electrical treatment to remove unwanted hair....lol
