My sister has just left she will get home about 9.30 tonight.we had a lovely day but I have a bit of a cold on me so have a running nose I hope I dont give her this cold as she has been quiet ill with a bug she caught two weeks ago.
we exchanged DVD's and books we always do that. had dinner then I checked on the computer for somwhere to get my 8 mm films put on to DVD we found somewhere so I have to fill in the form and send off the money and films. it has to go to Leed.

The rest of the afternoon was spent chatting again and watching Pointless on Tele.
she is off to Israel in two weeks time but she has worried in case they cancel due to the trouble out there. they have already had the flight changed

so Linda How did your day go well I hope I hope you didnt eat all that cake your end up with tummy ache if you did lol

My son is due home from France tomorrow night traviling on the P & O ferry. that weeks has passed so fast

We had the cine film off our wedding,put onto DVD a few years ago. The
film itself was not brilliant,but it is a lovely reminder off our special day.

I am not at all happy this morning why ???? The sky outside is Grey and i mean Grey where has the sun got too ? no blue sky to make me smile.

I had planned a walk around the Lake this morning but this has put me off.. hope you all have a good day.
I am off for my shower now I have had my beaker of tea. notice I needed the beaker this morning the cup was not big enough I didnt want my cup to over flow. Lol.

No, no shows for a while...end of May is the only one which I am entered for although there are some I will go to just to watch.

I am going to a seminar today(in 3/4 of an hour) on Afghans.

I don't do alot on the tree I have on here, I do find Ancestry much better to find more detialed info out. I only come here to Community most of the time & that isn't very often..is it?

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday. It was a good one. I had a few gifts and still have the money to spend and son taking me to a garden centre tomorrow.
We had take away chinese last night, hubby escaped the airport too, but as he had eaten just joined us for a glass of wine or two.
The youngsters all brought something for the evening one the flowers the other some drinks and the third a cake !! I truely only had a small square and sent them all home with the rest between them.
Hubby has gone to work again but doesn't know what he will do as lots of the checks have been done over the last 2 days and who knows when they will fly again VERY worrying !!

We woke to a misty sky this morning which quickly turned into a fog. Went to Sainsburys and by the time we came out it was clearing and it is now a lovely afternoon. Might get out into the garden if I am lucky.

Pauline how right your were by the time i had my shower and dressed and made the bed the sun was out and has been out all day but I didnt walk around the Lake instead i posted my St Georges Day cards incase they didnt get them as sometimes the post is very slow. then I brought some plasters in the chemist and then got my little bit of shopping. on my way home I called into the charity shop to see if one of the assistants was on duty as I promised I would show her my country and western badge I had when I lived in Norfolk I belong to the country and western dance club we did shows at the holiday camps and went tuesday afternoon to the hall to dance it was the highlight of my life and I still have my little yellow badge of a wagon with Omersby Western club written on it and my name dangling underneath. bet that has surprised you all.
can you picture me dressed in my western gear.

Lady nice to see your still about and like you I tend to use the Ancestry more now when I am searching but I find the people on GR are so kind and really helpful I have had so much help when I have come up against a brick wall.

Linda I am pleased your birtday went off well you have a whole year now to wait for the next one . ? Shame.
