Mo, sorry to hear about your nephew, poor soul he's been through enough. Have you had any news about how he is?
I hope the hospital can find out what caused it.
I'll be praying for him.

Hi Pauline I had tp look something up so logged on here again to see if anyone was awake. ? It is raining heavy here and is quiet cold too. I forgot to sk Mo how her nephew was ? and if they had got results as to why ? I am just writing some get well cards out to send to the troops who have been hurt and are in hospital over here I have only one more job to do after that. I have got my dinner ready and the beef is in the oven I want an early dinner today. I had a call from ornage my broadband supplier it appears they are upping my meggs and lowering my monthly payments I was a little worried at the time but I emailed my son who is fishing over the holiday weekend and he told him it was fine. I think I will go around and shut my windows keep the cold out

Good afternoon everyone. An update on my nephew. He was sent home lat night after his MRI scan, and should get the results on tuesday. The specialist who he is under, was not at all concerned, and said that it was all part off the after affects off the brain surgery. My nephew is very sore all over his body, this we are told is the after affects off the fit. The stupid thing is,that they have not been told,if they have got to ring the hospital,or if they will contact them,re the results. But I suppose if they find anything, that needs attention, they will call him back immediately. Times like this are so hard on families. And my heart goes out to all,who are suffering in,and their close ones. I don't know what it's like where you all are,but it's horrid here, pouring with rain, and blowing a gale. I don't think I will venture out off the house at all. I hope you are all well.

Afternoon....All ..
Its bloody freezing as well Rita,
I have closed all my windows as well...but the cold comes down two of my chimneys...!! so might get them blocked up .but I'll have to remember that when the winter comes back.
We have that lovely Yellow Rape Crops growing in the field at my back ,and what a lovely sight it is. Better when the sun comes out though.
Got curtains to make, I have been putting it off for so long that my sisters daughter -law has forgotten what the material looks like ...LOL
So I might get cracking on that.
Quite good news then MO....hope it continues to be good.

Oh Marilyn,I can't get anywhere near rape seed. If we pass a field off it in the car,my eyes and nose stream. Yuk, I love the sight off it though. Come on woman, get those curtains made, you've got nothing better to do, apart from the Hou*****k, cooking etc etc. LOL

Hi All Marilyn I miss seeing the fields of Rape like we had in Norfolk and to see the beet crops piles along the roadside ready for collection l miss the field with cars parked and people with their punnets filling them with fresh strawberries and to see the onions that had been tilled ready for putting itnto orange net bags Happy Days they were. I am full now after my big dinner I no I should not haveeaten all that amount my little batter pudding were all nice and crisp and the beef so tender I had roast potates and parsnips and cabbage and cauliflower I even had the cheek to have a pudding Creamy Rice. I bet I would break the scales if I had any to get on. Have you noticed how much rubbish we have on the Tv at holday times and weekends we have so many repeats and some were on a couple of w eeks ago they must think we all have short memories. and the amount of sports programmes on is silly why dont they put them on one programme rather than all the chanels carrying some foot ball or sport of some sort. Idont mind some sport but they go over the top.

Morning Linda
I have only ever had Duck that was a long time ago many years we had with Orange sauce, it is not something I like but some of my family love it.
I had a taster of Ostitch once when I lived in Norfolk I didnt like that it was so strong tasting. I think what put me off more so was as my friends and I were coming away after our meal from the restauant we crossed through their Ostritch runs and I thought they were staring at me they had such large eyes,
I have just put my washing into the machine then when it is washed I will have to put it into the dryer.. I think I will make myself a cup of coffee I feel so sry this morning I have already had two mugs of tea. see you later.
Love Rita

Tut Tut, Marilyn, encouraging our Rita to become an alchofrolic, offering her Brandy + Gin. lol You cant be drunk in charge off the washing machine Rita. I bet all those cuppa's will play havoc with your bladder later Rita. I bet it was lovely ,not to have been the one in charge off the bottle this morning Linda. It's nice to have the cuddles, without the responsabilty isn't it. What did you end up by doing for the day. I hope you put that machine away Marilyn, before baby arrives. You dont want to end up sewing the child into the lining. Would you be able to pop onto Jeans thread, and say hello to them. Only they have been asking after you. It's nice to be popular isn't it. I hope Pauline is alright,we do miss her presence here. Shelly must be busy with her gang,as she hasn't been around much either Hi Yvonne and Lady,I hope you are both o.k.

I have to say Marilyn I am not really a drinker the only thing I have is at Christmas time I have a Bailys with my son in Law and have a glass of white wine when my sister and I are on holiday. if I have a really bad cold then I have a small drop of whisky with hot water I am not surprose to have spirt with me being on Warfarin I have to be so careful. Well Mo I dont drink when I am doing the washing only a soft drink. I dont want to fall into the loading front fo I I might shrink. Have you finished the curtains now MARILYN. Mo my bladder only starts working like that when i go to bed at night I find I have to get up four or fives times during the night.during the day I am fine. Lol a late starter. I will say Hallo to pauline. Shelley, Yvonne. Liz and Lady I have spoken to Linda so I think I have covered everyone, ? My son just emailed a photo of the fish he caught at Sandhurst Lake over the holiday 36.06 lb Common Carp he said he has spent years trying to c atch one this size in England he usually goes to France three times a year and catches them out there. so he is quiet pleased with his self.
Sun is out now I am pleased about that there is a procession in London this afternoon people marching to tell the next Goverment thay want life to mean life when these people who murder are given life sentences

Rita,my mind has gone into overdrive, imagining you going round and round in the washing machine. It would be quite a giddy ride wouldn't it. Personally I dont like fairground rides, but it sounds like you have invented your own ride. LOL It's still bitterly cold here,we have got the fire on to keep warm. I have decided I don't like bank holidays, they are boring when you are retired. They are just the same as any other day. I am just fed up today I suppose.

I was told they were going shopping. I told them i didnt know the shops were open on May Day. shows you how bright I am. I have done nothing much this afternoon I watched a DVD I counted the Repeats on the chanels on Tv for today I came up with 27 on Channel five 8 on Channel four 8 on ITV 1 10 on BBC1 19 on BBC 2 I might even have missed some I am glad I dont have to pay for my TV licence. I think it is disgusting. it is taking people money under force pretenses.

Well Rita,I was told off a lady flasher in your area, going round flashing her knickers in public,so it was you was it. lol I know what you mean about the t.v programmes, they were so exciting I fell asleep. I know that some off the shops were open, but I believe it was only from ten till four, like they do on a sunday. We had intended to go and visit Roly's cousin this afternoon, but Roly has had a headache all day,so we went no where.
