Linda, the rain held off until I got the washing on the line - then it tossed it down. I got soaked getting it back in again.

Just glanced outside again and yes it's raining again .
So I have put the containers out from the porch, that's bound to stop it now !!.

I have been without internet access since 8pm on Tuesday, lots of problems with various things (hub/wireless/pc). Luckily I have a laptop so have set that up today, as I have gone long enough out of the world!!!

Marilyn are you already in Cornwall ? i had a phone call from a friend from Norfolk she moved into a retirment flat two years ago in Truo her daughter lives in a place called "Five Miles "where-ever that is. ? and her other daughter is on her way done today from somewhere near Heathrow..

Linda you made that rain come your way, doing your washing and intending to hang it out to dry.and Pauline as well.
My daughter phoned me from hayes in Middlesex and it was bucketing down there,
it is not raining here at the moment but think it is very likely too soon .

I got all mine finished yesterday.
It's been lovely here today. Just started to rain now.
My grandaughter,is supposed to be going to Cyprus next sunday. It's a school trip that got cancelled last time because off the volcanic ash,but it looks like this one could go the same way.
She's going to be so dissapointed.

Your right Sue it is raining really heavy so heavy that the car park looks like a lake. all I need is a rowing boat and I could have some fun.
I closed my windows thia afternoon as there is a strong smell of sulfa so bad like bad eggs. I dont know if it is anything to do with the Volcaniic ash or not. I am quie well Sue.
Not done my family research for a while as I seem to have bits to do about the flat.

tipical isn it. ? I wanted to get up early today I got up later at 7.30 instead of 6.30 I think it was because I slept soundly from 11. till 2.30 so I got up and sat and read till 4 then dropped off to sleep..
Have you notice that happenes when you have to catch a train of flight you sleep later than you wanted to then you have to rush around.

It is overcast at the moment here but there are bits of blue in the sky so perhaps the flights will be able to get away somttime during the day.

Hi Rita and everyone
well just had a call from The hospital my appointment is cancelled as the guy who does the tests has rung in sick and nobody else does it !!!

So I now have to cancel the other appointment at Princess Margaret too.

Hubby is leaving work early to take me. Not sure whether to ring him or just let him come home?

Oh well have to think of what to do now............... maybe some gardening put off yesterday

If I was you I would phone Hubby and tell him incase he is delayed and worries about getting home.

It is always annoying when you get a cancellation at the last minute that has happened to me a couple of times and I dont like it left till the last minute.

Have a nice day in your garden but dont over do it.

Hi everybody.

It's a pain when that happens Linda, I hate it when they do that with my son's appointments. Hubby puts a holiday in at work so he can help us get to the hospital, we cancel the day centre, and then we get a phone call to say the appointment's been canceled.

Hope the rain stays off so you can get some gardening done instead.

I agree with Rita, it would be better for your hubby if he knew he didn't have to rush home.

I called him and as flights are delayed because of dust last night they will probably be quite glad to have him around. I should still see him about 3:30 and then we can go shopping.

Rang eldest but she is busy today, so she won't be coming either.

This nice weather has a lot to answer for. I have been in the garden tying back my honey suckle,and the other climbers.
It's all the rain that we have had,it's made the climbers go crazy,and shoot all over the place. Still they all look better now they are tied back.
Mind you, I had to go poo shovelling before I could even get near them.
I am definately get my cat some disposable nappies. lol
What a nuisance that they cancelled your appointment Linda. Have they given you a new one yet,or do you have to phone and make a new one.
You are probably not sleeping because off the wedding being so close,and all the things that have to be done.

Mo I wondered what you were going to say first about poo till l read on .
I lived near stables in Norfolk and they use to bring me a couple of sacks Horse Manure around and I spread it over the back garden my god it did smell but it did the plants good I made sure the ones i knew didnt like the horse manure didnt get any. my dog also kept well away he didnt like it either.
I am glad you phone Hubby Linda. at least he knew he didnt have to rush home and could take his time.

Linda the times seem to have flown bye since you first told us about the comming wedding I hope they get good weather.

Pauline it must be upsetting when you get told no appointment and you have made all those plans.
I had one for St peters for July 22nd a few days later I got another one for September 8th so I have had plenty of warning

Tomorrow I have the Doctors for my INR blood test. at 11. o'clock

I did three lots of washing this morning this included my Duvet I wanted to pack it away till winter but needed too wash it first I still have the summer one on the bed.

Think it is time I had a cup of tea.
