I say our Rita,you are the big sister in our little family,NOT an old biddy if you don't mind. You may be giddy sometimes,but then we all are. lol

Shelly,we all know about Marilyn and her tents. The problem is,we call them marquees(sp),and Marilyn thinks they are tents.
Did you see she was trying to tempt me with the farmer,in the field behind her. What she has forgotten is,that you are the youngest and the most likely one to be able to catch him. Me, I would be collapsed on the grass,
completely cream crackered,at the thought off having to chase him.

Oops! That word is banned, isn't it?!

I use several cloths, hot water, white vinegar and plain disinfectant to clean floors and general housework.

I don't use all these chemical based products. Expensive and they never do the job.

now if your nan was born 1906
add at lest 20 so your mum was born about 1926
now add another 20/25 give and take you may have older sibling
so you could of been born about 1940/6
that would make yo 60 pluss

so i say about 67


now try mine my nan was born 1892 so how old am i LOL

Morning everyone
Sunny again this morning
Got the suits yesterday and then went on to Worthing. Walked along the prom and then down the pier. Got little one home late.
Daughters both came in the evening. Youngest did my nails. Marilyn I can't do anything now !!!! Even typing is difficult. No more gardening or washing up.

MY dear Mum was born in 1911 and my Dad in 1908 .My eldest is a daughter and she is now 59 the next a son he is 57 and the third 53
so you can see l am well worn not ready for the scrap heap as yet.

rita working out my age from my dads mum is heard cos my dad was 10 years older than my mum and my nanna her first husban died in ww1 she had 4 children that all died then she re-married in 1918 to my grandad and then when on to have another 9 children and my dad was born 1930

now if i had given my other nanna my mum mother date of birth that would of been easyer as she was born 1922

there you go easy peasy lol

I ended up going to the doctors......Hmmm got antibiotics as I was not getting any better with this dammed chest of mine.

Now I'm back I think I'll sit in the garden with maybe a G&T or perhaps not on antibiotics it don't go together much !!

its my birthday soon and ill be 47 see not even 50 yet LOL

. My son in Law Steve is 60 today on the 10th he goes in to have an 8 hour operation for his cancer. we are all wroried sick.

l had my magazine from the Willesden History Society this morning and found three pages of my Dads book in it talking about" Willesden Characters 1915" they also talk about his book. so l was surpised to see that in print in my WFHS book.
I had to smile while reading it as Dad had already told me about these characters long time before he died.

when l went to get some shopping this morning l went into the charity shop Mo they had boxes and boxes of knitting needles and patterns sewing paterns and cross stitch sets as well.so some of the shops are selling them.
l saw a book that was high on a shelf tittled. "London the Novel"by Edward Rutherfurd. being interested in History especially London l saw it was not priced. I asked how much she said you can have it for £2. l am really pleased l saw it.. it covers all the history of Londinium (London in the Roman times for those who dont know )Tells you all about London Bridge. The Tower. Hampton Court Lavender Hill. The cutty Sark The Blitz and more it has four or five pages of old maps in as well. 830 pages.so l can sit and read now to my hearts content.
l have to answer some letters frist and clear my desk up l am behind with things.
