Hello everyone, I am back home. Now got to get myself organised. Back to the grindstone, cooking, washing etc to be done. I am glad to be home though. I found it very boring. I am afraid I am the sort of person who needs things to be going on around me. I cannot sit for hours on a beach doing nothing. I am a people watcher, and loved watching some of the sights on the beach. How some people can be brave enough to wear what they do,I shall never understand. It got to the point ,when I could not be sure if I was watching a beached whale,or a human being. Ooooh that sounds so catty, but it's true. The sun comes out, the clothes come off. Our hotel was lovely, apart from being on a main road, with traffic up and down it all night. We had to shut the windows because of the noise, but then we sweated buckets. Oh well, back to normality now. Perhaps I will get a better nights sleep tonight.
Pauline, I am sorry to hear about the passing of your uncle.
I will be back later girls to catch up.

Hello I am back again the clouds have blown away and no rain we have bright sunshine A friend called to see me she brought me two jam dougnuts for my tea. she said she had been shopping this morning and knew I like them.so treated me.
My young brother in Law phoned me last night to see how i was keeping ?he told me my older brother in law had been told he has Huntingtons dease( I thought that was inheirted )yet I know no one in my husbands family that has ever had that. MY brother in law will be 71 next month. so I am wondered how he came to have it when i can think of no one else in that family every having it. anyone kn ow anything about that HD,
Pauline I am sorry to hear about your uncles death.
Pauline my Holly trees where just that tree.s they were over 8 feet high one was at least 10 feet.they took up one corner of my large garden and you could not see the Bungalows behind them at the side of them stood two coxes apple tree's and one Bramley cooking apple tree both of these so tall you needed an extension, ladder to get to the top to take the fruit off then next to them was a pear tree then along that fence were raspberry canes and cultivated Blackberry bushes so you can see how it was a case of Tree Doctor to come and cut them back from time to time. It was an expensive job as well.He had to come from Lowstoft.

Shelly I saw the News of the fire I understood it was Kingston in Surrey so they must have got lost on the way. I know they had a alarge amount of fire engines there so it is a big fire. it broke out in one of the flat and the guy next door was speaking to the TV people about it.
well Marilyn I am pleased you got your teeth sorted that will make you think twice before you eat Pork Cracklins again for a while at least.
Pauline I got all your emails and your Marilyn thank you. Rita

Evening everyone So sorry to hear about the passing of your uncle Pauline. I haven't seen the news tonight so I didn't know about the tower block fire. There was a big fire yesterday at Frensham Ponds on the heath lands thats in Surrey too. Then there was one at Heathrow a couple of days ago in the cargo area. And the one at the Tesco express store at Waterlooville I think, but that has been found to have been arson. Too many.
Yes the trees are sorted The dead one is cut to the ground and the overgrown ones are clipped and tidied up. There were 3 men. The one who went up the trees was from Poland and was just back after a holiday. He was really good. Very fit. Bit like the firemen really. Anyone want me to send them round???? Hubby was here the whole time they were working. They were all done and dusted by lunchtime. And they cleared up really well too and took a few branches we already had to get rid of. There was a little damage to some of the taller plants. like hollyhocks, fuschias and some dahlias. But overall it will all survive. Now we need to return the pots and cut the grass.
Have a good evening

Morning
I watch that WDYTYA las night it was not as good as there last one but I found it interesting.. so our Bruice is on next Monday on BBC1 at 9 olock I hope I get to see that as I shall be in Weymouth. I think a lot of these fires must be because they dont check the electrical parts enough in the older tower blocks. I know a lot are people who take chances or forget and leave lighted gas on or electric and they get over heated. I never was in faviour of tower blocks .they went too high with them when they built them. I hope no one has got hurt in this one have not seen the news yet, Kingston on Thames was part of London Shelly in the 1800 it use to appear on the census as that.
I am glad you got you trees sorted Linda less leaves to clear up when we get the windy weather.

Morning All
I think I wore our Shelly out last night, poor girl was helping me unravel a family that is not even mine !!,but daughter in laws ......wait till I tel her her family is not straight forward as I thought........all she does is wait for me to tell her what Shelly has found ..LOL
I saw that fire on the news last night Shelly ......frightening I couldn't live in a block of flats for that reason, I did live in a flat that had 6 stories when I first got married in Kensington . and hated it because it had a lift and I don't like lifts in case of a fire .
Jean .....don't worry yourself too much I have had lumps as well so I know the panic, but lucky for me they were pre cancerous and only had a op to take it away..........easy peasy ...
Linda any chance of you coming to my garden when your fed up with yours ...LOL
