I hope the scan results are good Marilyn, fingers crossed for you.
What a shame there was not much success, on the Forsyth Saga. As you say, maybe now someone will come forward,after the screening last night.

Linda this tickly cough is a nuisance at times. I wake myself up thinking there is a stranger in the room,who's having a coughing bout, only to realise it's myself.
I hope you managed to get your compost for your plants.

Jean I have not got anything planned for today. My OH, has got to go for a Colonoscopy tommorrow,so today is the day he has to take the clearing out medicine.
Poor soul is not looking forward to it, even though he has been through it before.
Is it tommorrow or thursday you start your treatment.

Mo, I hope your Grandaughters holiday wasn't spoiled by them having to wait to get home, and hope she had a great time. Hope things go well for your OH tomorrow. I start my treatment on Thursday, not looking forward to that.

Sigh of relief.........Scan OK.

Oh my god I was sweating buckets before I went in to see consultant.
Then he said have you come for your check up ??? because you were only here 6 weeks ago !

No I said I'm here for results of my scan, then he left me again for 5 mins and came back after looking it up with the good news ..
What the right & left don't know about each other !!

Anyway that's that done and dusted ..LOL

Thanks for all concerned see we all need each other ... don't we ?

Now going for dinner ...

Thank goodness your scan was o.k Marilyn. Now we have to pray for Jean.
Jean just remember we are all thinking of you all the way, and out the other side.
My grandaughter came to see us last night. And she had a brilliant time.
I had to laugh, they went on a midnight cruise,that started at eight thirty,and finished by eleven thirty. How can they call that a midnight cruise lol!!!

Shelly busy with trees as usual.

Mo knitted too fast and has finished. I finished the first one yesterday, need to dig out buttons for it now. But been cutting back shrubs today other than when my friend came for tea and a chat. About to start a new cardigan this evening, in that pretty patel random wool.

Quick good morning to our Jean and all of you, sorry I haven't been around much lately, a bit low and stuff going on here too which makes me stressed.

I watched the Brucie prog and thought it was quite interesting, he wasn't so posey as he was on the other programme about him, he was very natural with his new found family, I thought.
Certainly was a shock for them to find out their family weren't legit! lol

Glad your scan was ok Marilyn and hope you can get to the bottom of the mystery note.

Thanks for the cuppa.

Rained here in the night but it looks Ok now.

Little here later so might go for a walk and get some fresh fruit and salad in the village.

Did get the compost so have to start the spring flowers this weekend. No bedding plants left in the local garden centre, so might have a drive out too to see if there is anything left.

Started the knitting last night and the wool is very pretty.

I'm here Linda.

Been a bit lazy this morning.

But washed some sheets as my older sister is coming to stay on Friday for a week.
She is lovely my sister .....sad she lost her hubby 16yrs ago, and this staying with me is her only holiday. She's too nervous to go an holiday with friends or family.
But is no trouble whats so ever , she will fall in with whatever I do ,even loves reading Friendly News ..!!!

Got Pete painting my bathroom this morning...the whip has not been used much lately so it needed an airing ....LOL

Jean .....I see we have gone all posh with those new cups.... frightened to drink out of those in case I broke one !!!!!


Liz .........the sooner that wedding is over the better for you , you have had so much hassle , its no wonder your feeling low, you'll need a Tonic to get you back to normality , and that well deserved holiday that you are going to squeeze out of him somehow....just like his son does !!!!

Linda it rained ALL day yesterday it looked like winter here, pity all those campers.......poor little kids they must have had to up their tents and go home ,you needed wellies to walk in the fields around here.

Mo , hope your coping with Roly and getting him ready for his hospital appointment.....is anyone else going with you ?

I'm here but not for long - got to go out again, as soon as my next wash load is finished.

We've got the sun as well Linda but we had thunder storms last night and torrential rain, it was coming down in sheets. The storm seems to have cleared the air though.

Marilyn I'm really pleased that your scan was OK, what a relief, we've only got Jean to get sorted now.

Stay positive Jean, it seems to help people to fight it, and you're obviously a fighter.

Mo hope it goes well with the colonoscopy today, does he have to have one every year? I got a letter from the hospital saying that I had to phone them to make arrangements to have one, but I keep putting it off. I'll have to pluck the courage up to ring about it............but not yet, can't bring myself to do it.

Shelly do you get 6 weeks off in the summer or is it not the same as school holidays?

Liz I hope all the trouble gets sorted out before the big day so you can have the chance to enjoy it.

Hi everyone.
Well girls we are back fron the hospital. Colonoscopy done,no cancer thank god.
They are now saying that they suspect it is I.B.S. At least the tests showed nothing untowards going on.
Pauline this is the second colonoscopy he has had done. The first was for his, uuhhhmmmm Piles.
If they want you to have one done Pauline, you should get it over and a done with. It's better to be safe than sorry.


I will be thinking of you tommorrow Jean,and sending you positive thoughts.
