Sorry about your cat Mo. 17 is a good age but it's sad to loose a pet.

OH has been ill since we come back from holiday, a bit like flu. I said it was 'manflu' lol I was hoping he would start decorating our bedroom cos he still had a week off work but that hasn't happened

Our garden pots suffered a bit while we was away they've gone all straggley (is that a word!)

Rita, the girl in the shop where you got your tv times was nice offering you a chair and a drink.

Well my sister has gone to my other sisters for the rest of the week.
and as much as I love her ,it was a bit like having her glued to me !!
She hovered over me every minuet of the day, so I was unable to come on here as much as I used too.

Now ....let me see .....Yvonne I'm so glad you had a great time in USA & Canada.......talking about your OH not being well ...My OH always goes down with some sort of illness after everyone's germs on the flight !
So I'm sure that's where he has caught his Man Flu....awwh.. Bless him

Just thought I'd let you all know that I have had 6 little nodules cut off around my neck at the Doctors this afternoon , one was a bit hanging ....Horrible !!!
The doctor CUT 5 out with scissors !!!!, one out with anesthetic injection.
I told the Doctor that I can now wear my Diamonds around my neck ...LOL
I feel normal now ..


So now you can all talk to me ...as I'm here again, so where are you all ????

Gone out now .....Pete is treating me to dinner ..BLESS !!!

I'm not spotty anymore ......no dangle bits !! I think he wants to kiss my neck ..LOL

Hi everybody, it's been a bit nippy here today.

Yes Marilyn I missed you - it was very quiet while you were busy with your sister. Have you only gone out for a meal so you can show your clear neck off?

Shelly what have you been thinking about? You hurt your brains but didn't tell us the reason.

Yvonne I think that man-flu is just an excuse not to do any decorating. Just get someone in, it's much quicker and no arguing.

Rita I hope your daughter's MRI scan is OK. She shouldn't have to pay to get it done but it's worth the money to get it done quickly. At least she won't have to spend months worrying. I wish I could say something to stop you worrying about your own scans but I don't think anyone can put your mind at rest. We'll just have to pray that it isn't any worse.

Jean, 7 weeks is a long time and it'll drag for you but if it's going to work - then it's worth every minute. We'll continue to put you in our prayers and just hope it works for you. Life just isn't fair is it?

Linda is that you saying you dozed off? Has all this rushing around finally caught up on you? I need to sit down and have a rest just reading what you get up to.

Mo was your son and his partner over the moon with all the knitting you've been doing? I love to see little baby things, they're so cute, how many have you done?

I got some vouchers for a beauty clinic for my birthday, my niece and nephew bought them for me. So I went today and spent some of them. Had a lovely special pedicure (first time I've ever had one) and nail art on my big toenails. I was there all afternoon but they look lovely, very pretty with little diamonds on. I keep looking at my toes and smiling - they look much better than when I do them myself.

I've booked in again for 4 weeks time but I might go sooner. I bet the little diamonds come off when I go in the bath. Might sit with my feet out the side of the bath.

marilyn iv got some of them bobbly thing on my neck but think ill keep them thank you

but i have to have the big bobbly thingy from under my eye off but a long what at the hospital and that sute me fine

well iv been doing some of the game on facebook for my some when he has been out and his farm need plowing
eny way i look up some of the resent people that i have fant in my tree now there is one that im 95% is the son of my dads brother that died in devon his from a second marrige and he also has the mans name on his friend list that i did getin tuch with though ancestery.
now what do i do.

Hello everyone.
It's been another hectic day here. We went to a friends funeral today, so sad, but a nice service. There were no hymns,just three songs. Ian was scottish, so on entry to the chapel, he was piped in to Flower of Scotland,
after some thoughts from the family,they played Wind Beneath my wings, and as the curtains closed, they played Islands in a stream, sung by Dolly Parton, and Kenny Rogers.
We went out for lunch following the funeral. We did not want to go to the wake.
Then I spent the afternoon clearing the garden of weeds and poo. Yuk.

The incidents with foxes seem to really on the increase Rita. We have one that always turns up on the night before the dustman arrives. It has been seen in the early hours of the morning,raking through the bin bags.
You are right Rita, Heir Hunters is a repeat. I remember seing the story of the tramp who lived on the traffic island before.

Yvonne, could your OH's flu symptoms,be caused by the air con in the plane. I know that friends of ours,who go abroad regularly,very often get the same type of symptoms.
He wants a little bit of tender loving care, bless him.

Shelly I have looked everywhere for your brain, and I can't find it. Did you lose it when you went shopping. lol

Marilyn it was quiet without you,HOOORAY she's back girls.
I know what you mean about having your sister staying. My brother is driving me mad, he doesn't stop talking. We may be well into a programme on the t.v, that we always watch, and he keeps yapping in the middle of it.
He has gone to speak to his wife tonight, so I am just hoping they can sort things out. I don't fancy him being a permanant fixture here, I would certainly lose my sanity then.

Pauline, both my son and his OH, were over the moon with the cardigans.
I have finished six, but I started another one yesterday afternoon,and have finished the back, two fronts,and am half way up the sleeves.
My problem is, I keep forgetting to buy the buttons,so I have now got to get enough for two cardigans.
If I had another brain cell I would be dangerous.

How is our Jean tonight I wonder. I hope you are o.k love,and not to tired after todays treatment.
Good luck for tommorrow's, only two more days,and you can have a weekends rest from it.
Do you have to go on your own to have the treatment, or does someone go with you.
Just remember, if you do have to go alone, we are all with you in spirit.

Hows your day been today, did you get all the clearing up done in the garden.
We have still not had any rain, but because we are going down to Hastings on sunday, with the whole family, it will rain that day.

Another dry warm day here. Will need to water the pots again tonight.

More knitting this evening.

I'm trying to find a cheap holiday caravan or cottage for my daughter, for 4 nights but only in 2 weeks time and she wants to take the dog too.

marilyn my dads brother died in 1988 and he live at 13 long lakes williton he was a games keeper going from his death cert it say exeter county of devon

now what do i do about his son do i get a fack name cos you no me im not useing my name
eny way do i get in touch with him in the hope he may have photos and some info to pass on to me

Williton is on the boarder of Devon & Somerset, yes a lot of moor ground around there , no wonder he was a Gamekeeper.

Oh so she actually walked then Marilyn. What was the point of her going in,in the first place. She had not even been in there a week. I know she was saying last night to corrin, that her boyfriend had cheated on her, and
that was one of her reasons for going into the house in the first place.
But surely she has not left just because of that cheating little toad.
Lets hope the newby on friday, has got more staying power, and is more fun.

Morning ladies, hope everyone is ok today.
Shelly I'm sure your brain is fine, maybe part of it is having a bit of a rest, have you been overworking it?
Mo and Linda, I go to the hospital alone but usually find someone to chat to when I get there, the McMillan nurses are always around.
Rita, some days it is hard to put on a happy face, but as you say it has to be done.
Marilyn, I always do as I'm told, haha! well almost always.
Pauline was counting up in my diary, 7 weeks brings us to mid September, seems like a lifetime away, will be starting to get ready for Christmas by then, if I have the energy lol.

Hope I haven't missed anyone, if I have I'm sorry, its my age, haha, my memory isn't what it used to be.

Hope you all have a good day today. It's a bit overcast today, but I;m sure it will improve.
I'm glad you find somebody to talk to Jean. And that the treatment will soon be done. Even if it does take us all closer to Christmas.
I have little M today and will be making a card with her, requested by Mum.
