Hi Jean
Do you have the idione injections when you have a scan ? I have never had any comeback on them before today. If it was that. ? I know they do have a reaction on some people. I was hot and sweating and felt really ill I was worried as my chest felt as if someone was sitting on it. that is a first as well.
I have the doctors tomorrow blood test to be done 2 for PMR and the other for my warfarin level.
I asked if the Idoine would make any difference he said it would go off by tomorrow.
The pains have gone now well almost.
I will tell the hospital when I go for the results at The Royal Surrey what happened see what they say ? I hope my scan will be alright and it is not that result that caused all this. ?
I wear a red wrist band for penicillon as I am alergic to that.

Thank you Mo for your kind words,

Marilyn are you trying to get rid of Stephen asking all these questions you naughty girl Lol
I cannot beleive it is nearly September I was writing my birthday card list out as I buy the cards a week before some times two weeks before and I was so surprised September is a busy month for cards.

4 months and we will be writing Christmas cards out. My Grandson has his new posting he will be away 6 months not in Afganistand this time. I was so pleased to hear.
My son who is a Paramedic is now back at work he has been off with acheilles heel since last October he said he is so pleaed he was really fed up being home. he did it while lifting a patient. his daughter is getting married next September and he wants to save to pay for the wedding it will be a big do in Dorset
she has all the booking done already.

Stephen that must have been a sight you doing a handstand I hope you didnt do yourself any damage ? You must be on something to give you that sort of strenght to do a handstand. What is it Porriage Oats or Shredded Wheat. whatever it is let me know then I will have the same. Lol

I went to bed earlier then woke at three - thirty cursing someones car alarm going off I thought great I wont sleep now until someone switches it off.then I found it was my telephone I must have knocked the handset in the bedroom why it waited till 3.30 in the morning to go off I have no ideal

Time to dig into Stephens breakfast bits not allowed Grapefruit because of the warfarin but I am going to have a good meal this morning.

Perhaps Pauline won on the lottery and has gone walkabout ?

we have a mixture of weather here we had sun then rain then sun then winds then rain now sun and it is only 3.5.

I had my blood tests done I have to wait now for the PMR test till next Tuesday and the Warfarin till Thursday.
They were very busy in the surgery this morning 7 Doctors on duty as well.
The nurse from the hospital comes and does the INR blood test so I asked her about my injection needles which I still have after four months of doing them. I told her the bucket were sealed so they would not get out and asked her advice on what to do about them. she said dont worry Rita bring it over to me on your next blood test and I will get rid of them for you.
I dont know what my next treatment will be so have to wait to see now when the scan results come through..

I did some shopping on my way back and collected my TV times. it is Jason Donvan on WDYTYA next week.it appears his mother walked out on him when he was little according to the write up.

Looks like Peggy Mitchell in East Enders will be in a fire next week at the Vic.well that is how the TV bit reads. and she leaves next week.but perhaps that is the clif hanger. they always have those dont they,?

Mo in Kent Report 24 Aug 2010 19:01

Cooeee everyone, I'm here.
Well Stephen, sooo much food, enough to feed all of the clan. If you lay a feast like that every day, you will have us lot coming up for a visit. Mind you, it sounds like we will all be as fat as pigs, by the time you have fattened us all up. Oooh I am a swine for me food. LOL

Jean, I am enjoying having my grandaughter here. I have been trying to re-teach her how to knit. The problem is, she is left handed, and I am right handed. It's so hard for her brain to comprehend, and I definately can't knit left handed. So she has given up for the time being.
We went up to town this morning, I wish we hadn't, it cost me money, for shoes and trousers for her. Mind you, she doesn't really need them, she just fell in love with them. Oh well, thats us nans for you.

Oh Rita, you are a nit wit, fancy knocking the phone of the hook, and waking yourself up like that.
I hope your blood tests come back o.k.

Yvonne, you should have said you were going to Blue Water, I would have popped up to see you. Did you spend loads of money up there. The others may not know just how expensive it is there.

Marilyn and Shelly, are you going to watch the final of BB tonight. I want to know who is going back in, for the final two weeks.
And have you found Pauline yet. She has not even been sending e.mails out, which is most unusual for her.
I hope that she is o.k, and also Brent.

Liz, not long now love, and it will all be a distant memory. Keep your chin up.

My God, just got home and found SAS men all over the place, what's going on?

I'm sure I told you that I would be out all day every day. I've been getting home late and tired every day - just falling asleep in front of the telly every night. Plus I've got blisters on my feet. Think you were right about my age Shelly - I feel like I'm 101.

Stop shouting at me Marilyn, I can hear you all the way from the far north.

Should we run a book on Stephen's age? He hasn't told us yet - so we could all make a guess................I'll say 64......Might have to go into hiding now!!

Haven't had my lappy on for days, better check the emails before I go in the bath.

Thank goodness you are back Pauline, we were getting quite worried about you.
Stick your feet up on the sofa and relax.

Stephen2009 Report 24 Aug 2010 21:06

Rita, Strength.......none... just a belief in being able still to do a handstand (without breaking my neck)

Marilyn.....my brothers, 7 of them, with one exception, were all Scottish Soldiers. They served in the Gordons, Argylls, Black Watch and Kings Own Scottish Borders my dad was a Scots Guard. My oldest brother and I were sailors. In total my family have nearly 150 years of Service to our Country.

Pauline....guess my age indeed.....and me a strong believer in 'Tir-nan-Og'. Do a google for that one. In fact my yacht is called Tir-nan-Og.

We don't get too old to play....we get old because we don't play!!!!! Anyone for Hide and Go Seek?

I refuse to grow up.
Growing older is unavoidable....growing up is optional.
A local Council in Scotland has developed a Play Park for the over 60s only....no children allowed. Swings, Chutes, Roundabouts....the lot. We could all meet for a Fun day!

My wife and I sometimes organise Activity Weekends for our friends....we have a great laugh.

Keep smiling.....think of Tir-nan-Og

Stephen (alias Peter Pan)

PS Surely to be a Silver Surfer you need hair!
