Shelly, are you on something? You've been on this thread for at least 3 years and I've never seen you write more than 5 lines......LOL
Rita, you be careful on that hike, or you'll end up joining your family hobbling around the hospital.
I don't think Marilyn noticed the bit about camping.

That bleedin BIG cup of Coffee!
Told you I'd spend all night running to the loo.
Marylin, Marine, me! LOL I went camping at Bickleigh, a wee site near there, and was sailing at Hamworthy. And the only time I have ever been forced off a campsite because of the rain was at a place called Dawlish....Do you know that area? I still camp in the winter in Scotland and never had to abandon the site.
Ok! I'll go easy on you.....If you are over 90 with both parents still alive you can bring a caravan and wear thermals. Fair Deal?
Off to bed ....til I probably need to get up again.

Hi De Hi, campers.
(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Tea Coffee, Grapefuit Segements, Fresh Orange, Bacon Rolls, Toast, Jam, Marmalade, Biccys. All the 'hot' stuff is on the hotplate to keep it warm.
Could a couple of you get the knitting needles out and knit some woolly hats. Please. We've got to look the part.
Nice bright colours so we can see you from a distance in case you wander off and get lost.
Travel details available later today.
Have a good day ya all.

Morning Campers Oh and I'd just put those needles away. Still I have a few simple patterns to hand that I can copy for Mo and anyone else that feels able to help kit us out. Hubby did not get called yesterday so was home quite early. Today he has to get there for 10:00. It is a big court with 6 courts normally but additionally they are using the 2 magistrates courts at the moment !!!
Well as Stephen said "Have a good day ya all".

I will bring some insect killer poweder with me you put that down before the rubber sheeting so your be alright. I am going to have a pallyas not a camp bed or lilo so I will need help fulling that pallyas with clean straw so I hope I have help with that. I promise to make the tea first thing in the morning if you help.
Marilyn my family would be upset to be called a soldier they were all marines on one side of the family and when asked they said they were in the navy.
I am not going to offer to knit hats remember alittle while ago my hat I knitted was too big even for an elephant to wear,
Have a good day Marilyn are you going to put washing out ? if they are harvesting around your way you might end up having to do it all again. Love Rita

Hi Everyone,
Stephen .....I have a sneaky feeling that you were in the services be it Army or Navy or Air force.......
Bickleigh is only known for the Marine base , because I have been there with the Marines many times.....so good happy memories !! ...LOL Not telling you anymore ..........LOL
Down to a more serious note I will go caravaning as I'll pay extra for it , don't do TENTS !! Shelly I don't want to share my bed with anyone cause I like it all to myself and I want my electric blanket or I'm not coming .... LOL
Pauline you can share the bunk beds with Rita, you better go up top as I think Rita would insist on poking you up the bum during the night...!!
Shelly will organize the rest of you......... with her brood she has the experience !,
Stephen will sleep in his tent outside to keep to animals at bay .
Rita the farmer harvested 3 weeks ago.......
Where's Our Mo these days ?????????

Marilyn Lucky then they harvested when they did my friend from Norfolk phoned me last night and was telling me she had gone into yarmouth and left her sheets out and when she came back they were covered in little black flies. she said she was not happy at having to wash them again. I lived near a pig farm as well and I hated the smell of them in the summer I use to close the windows when the breeze was blowing my way. Puuuuuuuuh.
Marilyn you have been spoilt not having slept in a tent. you get many creepy crawleries in a Caravan as you do Tents. I will spray you with some insect killer your'll be fine.
Pauline you will have to sleep on the top bunk I have a job climbing up the steps to the top bunk..But I dont want rude nosies in the night. Mariolyn you are a naughty girl it is all coming out now about you and those marines. come on spill the beans. I want to know all. there was me thinking you were a little angel.
Shelly wont boss us about she is too kind for that
Stephen can have a bivi tent and can keep watch there might be Lions about. or Snakes. changed my mind I will go on the top bunk bed Pauline just incase.
lets hope it dont rain.

I've just checked back and Mo hasn't been on for 2 days, that's not like our Mo, hope everything's OK.
Get yourself back on here Mo, we need your knitting needles, can't expect Linda to do all the hats on her own. Hope one of you have lime green wool for Marilyn's hat.
Rita, I remember the hat you made, bring it with you and someone will be able to use it as a sleeping bag.
Your past is all coming out now Marilyn, you little floozy. Were you the one they used to call Marina Marilyn?
Our caravan sounds lovely Shelly, we'll have all the comforts of home, are you going to take your lappy? I wonder if we'll be able to get a signal.
Camping in Scotland in winter!! You're a brave man Stephen. Must be a bit draughty up the kilt though.
Wonder if Jean will feel well enough to go with us.
Rita, are you sure you want the top bunk? It's going to take me all night to get you up there.

Pauline you cheeky little thing. you can get Stephen to help you. and my wooly hat I gave to a charity shop. lol I think they thought it was a shoping bag ? you could have got two hundered weight of spuds in that.
I looked on the other threads earlier on to see if Mo was on them but she is not on the ones I looked at.
I got my blood results just now from my warfarin test yesterday wasnt that quick good news it has come down from 4.00 to 2.90 and the tablets have been redused have to have another on on 14th so that is after the one 7th for my PMR. I think it must have been the idione injection I had when I had that scan. I will see when I have the other test next tuesday.
I am going to have a cup of tea now.
see you later.

Hi De Hi Campers. I have been up to Camping international, and booked all my gear ready for our weekend away. Check list of what we need please Stephen. So far I have got my hiking boots, waterproofs, water bottle, billy cans, and a portable gas BBQ for cooking the grub on. Don't want to start a fire in the highlands now do we. We got into enough trouble last weekend, lets be good this one shall we. Yep extremely good, titter titter. What colour wool have you got Linda, for these ere ats we have got to knit. I have got lime green, pink, orange, lilac, dark purple, navy blue, black and some of the white fleck left. Who's making what for who. I am going to have a big bobble on the top of mine, so that if I get caught short, and need a tiddle, you will be able to find me. I might get it adapted so that it acts like a torch,so that I can see where I am going. Insect repellant is a good idea Rita. A sleeping bag is a neccessity. Hm caravans are for wooses.

Travel Arrangements;
Everyone to arrive at Fort William Rail Station for 17.00hrs (5pm) Friday.
We then catch the train to take us to Mallaig. This is one of the loveliest train journeys you will ever make.
Catch the Ferry at Mallaig to take us across to the Isle of Skye where we pick up a Mini Bus for the weekend.
We are going to camp at Glen Brittle and get ready to climb the Cuillin Hills. Spectacular high ridges and cliffs.
I can't remember where I read it but I thought I'd let you know. The folk on Skye are normal height....it's the MIDGIES that bite you not MIDGETS.
Looking forward to our wee adventure.
Gear list to follow.
