Sorry I was absent yesterday ladies and Stephen
I was whisked off to the Great Dorset Steam Fair before 6:00. No I didn't find Sue, though we did see a lot of heavy horses. It was a dry day. So consequently we were very dusty, all clothes now in the wash. One lot already hung out the other spinning around, nearly ready.
Today my baby brother is coming with his family. He is 12 years younger than me, hence the baby brother. We will go to my son's and go for a walk with the dog so long as it stays dry !!!

Have a good day everyone. Hopefully all are safe after the Highlands mountain climbing. !!!

Busy week ahead off me. But will try to add before the little one comes.

I am not doing much I had good intentions when I got up I had my shower and a second cup of tea. sorted out what I am doing for my dinner for today. then made the bed.
I sat and had a cup of coffee and read a bit of my book I started reading in bed last night.

I keep looking at some typing I need to do but I really dont feel up to it at the moment perhaps later on I might feel different.

I left my caravan at home I didn't want competition with yours ..LOL

Thats why I had my TENT........but its all folded away now for whenever !!

The sun has just come out and I might just go down to the beach for a walk .

I had unexpected company yesterday and couldn't get rid of them. Been busy cooking and washing today.

Ahh Shelly, I didn't realize it was Olly's birthday, can't believe he's a year already.

All that time we sat on the rocks sunbathing and watching Mo swim and you didn't say it was his birthday.

Mo, you were in the water that long that I thought you were a mermaid.

Marilyn that caravan of yours wouldn't have made it off your drive, the only thing keeping it together was the green paint Shelly got for you.

Stop pretending you were missing us Rita, you spent so much time with the driver - you didn't even know we were there. In fact...........what happened to the driver, where is he? I've had to drive this great big caravan home by myself because he went missing.........round about the same time you did.

And as for Stephen.........well, typical man, a young blonde in a short skirt gave him the come-on .............and he went!

Pauline, I felt like a shrivelled up prune, not a mermaid. I had more wrinkles in my wrinkles than I had before.
My feet were blue, my nose was running, and me hair looked like I had been dragged through a bush backwards. Not a pretty sight, thats why I did a quick dissappearing act.
I did happen to see the driver of the caravan, hitch hiking, looking very worn out. I think Rita must have worn him out, talking him to death, or something. lol No wonder he was nowhere to be seen when you looked for him.

What a shame you didn't see Sue yesterday Linda. You could have given her a rollicking for deserting us.
I hope you had a good day with your brother, and family.

I have been out on the beach and walked on the lovely sand , came home and had a Chicken curry........did not feel like a roast.

I will have you know that Driver went home with a smile on his face and was as happy as a sandboy. I must admit I did feel tired .

Mo I thought that was a bit much you skinny swimming I had to cover the drivers eyes they were popping out of his head. I made out you were not part of our party.

I know one thing I have big holes in my old Land=army socks they were not in them when I started out on that climb so I am going to send them to Mrilyn perhaps she will darn them for me for next time. ? but I am not going with Stephen he may be a good climber and no his way about but he should have turned up. I think he was in that little Inn we passed having a few drinks

I think we are in for a storm here it is very humid in fact I have a headche coming on .
I did do some of the typing but I have a way too go. tomorrow I have the washing to do the next day a blood test at the doctors.

Sorry I missed our little trip to Scotland, I 've been at work this weekend to cover for people on holiday, phew I'm exausted, I haven't done this many hours for a long time.

Belated birthday wishes to Olly, hasn't the year flown by, It wasn't so long ago we were voting for him in the photo competition.

My son starts college tomorrow, he didn't want to stay on at school for 6th form cos they weren't doing any courses in what he wanted to do.

yvonne iv got one that left school this year but his not going on to farther educashion
but my oldest daughter is going to do a unine couse she want to be a histroy teacher for cecondry school kids she dident like school much so lets see how she gets on pluss she has 2 children of her own age 5 and 8

Well up and at em. Little here later as Mum is back to work. Daddy will be bringing her.and probably collecting her too.
The washing was brought in damp yesterday as it rained so the planned pub lunch in the garden migrated inside. It was very nice too. Then they all came back here to chat and we made a buffet tea , which all disappeared.

Not looking too promising here this morning but I only need to go to the post box so not too far.

Off to daughters this evening for dinner and to take the last 2 cardigans over.

Liz thanks for the hint about wool in Lidl I got some darker colours to make jumpers for Bulgaria.

One of my Grandaughters starts her course at College today she is trying for Uni as well wants to do social work with children. she loves them she is working at holiday times with children.she does nothing but talk about them when she gets home.

Shelly my sister Sheila was a History teacher she taught that and English and speaks French ,Italian and some German and Spainish. she retired from teaching about five years ago.she really loved History still reads a lot of History. i suppose that was where I got interested in History.


Linda you seem to have a busy day mapped out a head of you today. hope it all goes well. I notice your still knitting I bet sparks are flying f rom those needles. ?

Stephen crawls out from under a boulder and grovels to all the lovely ladies he has let down.

Knew I should have stayed with my old Broadband supplier.

I will not be connected until the 13th of September....what a farce this has turned into.....no problems they said...we will do all the arranging....like heck they did....and would you believe it they asked me to EMAIL my complaints...LOL. I had to explain I couldn't do that as I had no Broadband as THEY hadn't connected me.
The sky turned blue as I uttered things like...my cosh! cripes! etc.

I'm only in my Office for a couple of hours today and won't be in again until next week.

I can see I'm gonna have to take you all out to dinner to make up for letting you down.
