you are all wrong about my car. I have a silver stretch Limo.
It has black upholstery and all the litle bits inside like cocktail bar TV and
DVD among other things.
when I am going out I take the matchbox with me so I can park it in that..
I had a surprise this morning my younger son phoned to say they were coming over. they being one of my granddaughters. she brought me over some of her photograph 40 beautiful photo's she had taken as part of her homework. she goes to Farnborough College. and is taking that as one of her many subjects. I was so pleased they were really lovely.. she also goes to a Drama school has done so since she was about 6 years old. I go and see her every year at the Camberley theatre.her sister also goes.she is a real star she dances and sings.she is so thin though it worried me but she said she eats a lot but does not put weight on. It was nice seeing her and my son I had not seen them for sometime as both had been busy.. so I have had a good day to-day. looking forward to tonight on Tv "Strickly come dancing " and Merlin"

Hi Ladies Well course half done. It is interesting but hard and emotional work. We have a brilliant insructor who is very hands on as he still works with his own paramedics..................... they are on duty tomorrow at the Henley half marathon. Just been out with hubby to fill the motor up. No you are right I don't drive......... never learnt ever. Lazy me as hubby works shifts and is around at some time most days, never quite got round to it. Too late now, too old to learn new tricks. It is a big car. His first car was a Rover 3L auto, so you can see his taste that was back in 1967ish.
Check back later

Hello everyone, and congratulations on all your Gold medals, have been following your progress even though I haven't posted. Another chemo session on Monday and the injection in my back, my scan on my breasts has been put off till chemo finished, which will be just before Christmas, scan on my back in 2 weeks. You must all be worn out after all the events you have taken part in, maybe someone will fund a holiday for you all when the games are over. How would you like a nice cruise? Have kept out of the way this week as I was feeling really low, but things are looking a bit brighter now. Enjoyed all your posts, had lots of laughs at them today. Take care and stay safe. Jean xx

Morning ladies and gent.
Lost myself when you lot started talking about cars, dont do it for me I'm afraid.
Well you may be surprised to learn I got TWO GOLDS yesterday. The orienteering and the rifle shooting. Gotta say it was a doddle. The competition was rubbish. They had no sense of balance and one fired a shot up in the air. The other orienteerers got lost. So I walked it, it was a breeze.
Another cloudy day in London yesterday, the sun came out for about 30mins. That was it.
When we will do our victory lap and retire back to England. The heat is getting to me now, and I am missing my family. Is the jet on standby.
See you all later. x

Morning all Bit overcast here too. Ironing today for me, have to get it down before I go away.
Still practicing the knitting last night. Nearly finished 2 sleeves will do that today. Have started to teach my daughters girlfriend how to knit, she has done it before with her grandmother but not for many years. I'll let you know how we get on.
Be back later.
Shelly I thought hubby's paper licence is valid til he's 70 then he has to declare if he has any health problems. Not sure how long they last after that. The new photo ones only last 10 years because the photos need updating.
No body want to guess at what car my hubby has?

Morning all you lovely girls LOL
Linda I think the age is 70 to take another test. I know the old fellow in the flat above me had to have one when he was 70 and again when he was 80. he doese not drive anymore as his sight is fading..
I will have to renew my passport in 2012 . someone told me I wont have to. pay for this as I shall be over 80 but . I have others who tell me I will ,so I will wait nearer the time and find out..
I know my bus pass runs out the same time 2012 but I might not have to renew if it comes into the October cuts. so it a case of waiting to see what will happen. unless I look in my Crystal Ball and see if I can find the answers.
very overcast again today.looks very misty.

Morning All, Shelly ,Rita & Linda are correct. its 70yrs not 65yrs.......my expiry is 2014.
DVLA.... then requires you to self certify that you are still fit to drive, this proceeding is repeated every 3yrs..... Inside info .....LOL
Now how are we all today ?
its not cold here ,but very windy.
Got loads to do today......are we still meddling ????

We're just about finished now Marilyn, just waiting for Shelly and Stephen in the Long Jump, Linda and Stephen in Table Tennis and Stephen in Shot Put. I've updated the list but might as well wait for the last 3 events before posting it for the final time.
Linda is it a 4x4?
I've been washing all my sports gear, just got to iron it now before I pack my case.
Got my niece and the kids coming later, so better make some cookies for them.

Just thought I would let you know Posh is still around I saw she had made a reply to one of the threads,
I have cleaned all my gear never have dirty Kit..I dont think I have any more events to competet in ? i have lost account of the medals I have won I am a little worried now where I will hang them when I get home ? if I wear them around my neck I might have a bad accident trip over and hurt myself of if I walk near a lake I might fall in and they will weigh me down and I will drownd.
so I have to have a good think ????????

Be very careful Rita, if you go out with them round your neck, you could get mugged. But knowing you, you would put up a good fight, and box their ears for them.

Shelly.
You will be 70yrs old.
70yrs-47yrs = 23yrs time. 2010 add 23yrs = 2033 yrs........ Due but you will have to declare yourself to be able to drive then every 3 yrs thereon.
But if a doctor states at any time you are unfit.....different story ..LOL
Over 70yrs no cost ......unless anything changes in the government .

Evening all No not a 4 x 4 Pauline. It is an auto My transport is my legs, buses only run hourly so by the time they cut one I never got there and back in time for school and children so haven't been on a bus for ages. Basically I think hubby's car is British................. that cuts it down a bit eh?
I can't find Stephen for the Table Tennis doubles so might sneak into the ladies finals if he is still missing. We need the next Gold
