Marilyn, is there any more news on Pete? I thought they said he could come home to you.
I bet you are cheesed of waiting to hear whats going to be happening.

Any one heard from Rita this morning. I hope the drink she had last night, did not have a bad reaction on her. I'm sure she said she was going to have a whisky and go to bed.
I just hope that she will go and see her doctor, this flipping virus has knocked her for six.

Anyway we have got snow now so he might be snowed in the hospital now .

Rita, have you called the doctor yet? I brought you a present back from the trip last night, he's 6' 2", with dark hair, I think that's your type.

We've got loads of snow here, think I must have brought it back with me.

Fancy Maddie getting all dressed up and then not joining us, there were loads of Scotsmen to choose from, Maddie, you would have had a ball .......or two.

Just as well Marilyn didn't make it, none of us would have had a look in if she turned up wearing that bikini.

Mo, I had to find my own way home and I only had a tray (the waiter gave it to me) to use as a sledge.

Ahhhh Pauline, you should have let a rocket of last night to let us know you were still stuck there. No wonder you need that drop of rum in your coffee, you must still be frozen to the marrow.

Have we still not heard from Rita. This is becoming a worry now, because that woman in charge there, is a waste of space, and wouldn't know what was happening beneath her nose. I do hope she is o.k.

I've been to town to get some food for my coach trip tomorrow, take a library book back and paid my gas bill.

you sound as if you had a great night out. I read all about it. any of you have a hangover tis morning ?

I called the doctor in as my back was painful under my kidney as well as bottom of my spine I took pills and nothing happened so I phoned. he came and said sorry I am late Rita I got stuck in someone driveway and needed two people to push me out.

My kidneys and lungs are the results of the coughing I had. he thinks I strained them,I have to stay in for a few more days. as my breathing is a bit naughty. but he thinks I am over the worst of it. he asked me if I had heard from the cancer hospital ? I said no I have to wait for the next appointment for the scan. to see if I needed more treatment.
I feel better now I know it is not my kidneys playing up.

Rita, I'm pleased you called the doctor out, if you take it easy you should be feeling well enough to go to your daughter's on Christmas Day.

I can't believe you've only just received that card, it was sent out nearly 2 weeks ago, it would have been quicker if I'd walked there with it.

Pat, the only way to walk outside at the moment, is very slowly, it's much to dangerous otherwise.
I know you were saying about your coach trip tomorrow, may I ask where you are of to. I presume it's a Christmas journey.

Two more days to go folks, and then the fun begins.
Tomorrow I have to remember to take the joints out of the freezer, to defrost, ready for cooking on Friday.
I'm afraid I don't cook my joints on Christmas day, with having three different types of meat to do.
Plus I like to carve them when they are cold, they go a lot further with my lot

I'm going to Portsmouth to stay with my sister and brother in law.
I'm pretty sure that the journey will be ok. It was icy weather last year and I was later leaving because they had closed the A38.
