Morning Rita & Jean.
Jean thinking about you .........x
Well I watched that plastic surgery last night , and couldn't believe the young ones wanting bigger boobs , they haven't all developed yet !!! LOL
It never entered my mind as a young one to change anything , only if I was really deformed in. some way.
But I need it now .................BIG TIME !!!
Chin , bum, crows eyes, tummy tuck, underarm tuck, face all round, why didn't I put down everything? LOL
bath time.........

Wishing you well for today Jean. Hope all goes well.
Bit better here this morning, but the forecast is looking poor. To wash or not to wash(clothes that is) is the question.
Went looking at TVs yesterday but didn't find the one hubby had read about. Ours is still fine anyway, but the thin ones are nice.
Little here today and tomorrow. So must get busy to get toys, art and craft, books and puzzles ready for her.
Have a good day all
See you later
Linda :o) XxX

Jean I have got everything crossed for you,for a good outcome. Like Marilyn said not all lumps are cancerous. But it is still a worry isn't it.
Pauline all the washing is done, and hanging on the clothes airer. It has been tipping it down with rain all day,so no chance of my getting it out on the line.

Hi everybody.
Rita it's so awful about Izzy's son isn't it? Poor lad only 20 years old, I think about him all the time.
Jean, did you get to see the doctor? Was he/she able to tell you anything? I hope it's nothing serious.
Rita, that's a terrible story about your daughter's friends, it's tragic.
Have you got those marigolds in yet Marilyn?
Linda your garden will be looking all neat and tidy now with all the hedges and trees done.
One of these days Shelly's going to get pulled up in the car while she's wearing her pajamas, I'd like to see the look on the policeman's face.
Mo, are you still washing and ironing your holiday clothes?

Marilyn I am the same my Sister when she books our holiday always ask for ground floor or first floor and explains I am unable to get up stairs and I dont use lifts. so far we have been lucky . only when we went to Germany four years ago we came unstuck the hotel we booked with had double booked and it was a conference centre as well it had four coaches of Japanese going for this conference so they had a taxi take us to another Hotel till the following day the taxi picked us up and brought us back to the orginal hotel which was on the banks of the Rhine and they gave us the penthouse rooms as we had been sent to another hotel the day before due to them double booking. we were going to tell them no till we got to the rooms and saw what they had given us so we kept quiet and had the holiday of a lifetime..
I brought a sun newspaper this morning I never bother normaly I saw an insert and read it , I was surprised it is to do with Izzy son the one on the thread Izzy need a hug.whos son lost his legs and fingers and broke his pelvis. It reads A Brave solider is fighting for his life after losing both his legs to a blast as his unit searched for Taliban booby traps. Sapper Ashley James Hall a 20 year old is under sedation after the explosion in Afganistan Helmans
The Soldier of Maidstone-based 36 engineer regiment was flown to a hospital in Birmingham on Saturday . Last night his condition was "Critical but stable " His family from Colchester Essex are with him. Dad Stephen said" They are doing very dangerous work on the front line." Earlier in the week he grabbed a sat phone so quicklyto tell us he was OK. Then this happens.

Hi Everyone,
Rita ....I hate those high rise flats and Hotels that have so many floors. When we ever book a holiday I always say to Pete book first or second floor or I wont go in them for fear of fire.
I'm dusting like mad here as what with all the mess of these doors and dust being shewn off , its settled everyone !!
I bought some marigolds yesterday to cheer up my driveway only 99p a pot and they are really lovely........but cant pot them as its raining !!!!!!
So going out now for some food.....

Jean try and not worry too much most of these lumps are not what you think and turn out to be benign. good luck anyway.
Shelly I hate those high rise blocks. my daugters friends had a flat in a high rise they were buying a house after years of saving and the day before they were moving they had cleared all the flat out and left just a radiator and a mattress to sleep on plus kitchen stuff they could use over the two days. They proped the matress up against the wall near the radiator and went into the ktichen to have something to eat. they left the mattress there and later in the morning they smelled smoke and Roy opened the door and the room was on fire blazing infact they tried to put it out with water and it got worse so Roy Told Ann to run along and tell the neighbours and to phone the fire brigad they did not have a phone.she did that and Roy was still inside trying to put the fire out he could not get out the flat door by then so made for the balcony and there was a big blast he hung over the belcony shouting for help he was too high up and lost his grip and died It was a terible shock to us all. It was all over the News radios TV and newspapers. they called it "The Towering infeno " it was about the time that film had come out. Ann moved into the house they were buying she never married . again.my daughter was in shock for ages after that.,That was why I hated those tower blocks they said it was combustion that started the fire the marttress got over heated. and there was no ladder that would reach Roy

Morning All
I think I wore our Shelly out last night, poor girl was helping me unravel a family that is not even mine !!,but daughter in laws ......wait till I tel her her family is not straight forward as I thought........all she does is wait for me to tell her what Shelly has found ..LOL
I saw that fire on the news last night Shelly ......frightening I couldn't live in a block of flats for that reason, I did live in a flat that had 6 stories when I first got married in Kensington . and hated it because it had a lift and I don't like lifts in case of a fire .
Jean .....don't worry yourself too much I have had lumps as well so I know the panic, but lucky for me they were pre cancerous and only had a op to take it away..........easy peasy ...
Linda any chance of you coming to my garden when your fed up with yours ...LOL

Morning
I watch that WDYTYA las night it was not as good as there last one but I found it interesting.. so our Bruice is on next Monday on BBC1 at 9 olock I hope I get to see that as I shall be in Weymouth. I think a lot of these fires must be because they dont check the electrical parts enough in the older tower blocks. I know a lot are people who take chances or forget and leave lighted gas on or electric and they get over heated. I never was in faviour of tower blocks .they went too high with them when they built them. I hope no one has got hurt in this one have not seen the news yet, Kingston on Thames was part of London Shelly in the 1800 it use to appear on the census as that.
I am glad you got you trees sorted Linda less leaves to clear up when we get the windy weather.
