Evening Marilyn and others Sorry you have been on your own Marilyn. I am in and out moving the sprinkler around. My garden is fading and no sign of rain to help.
Had a lovely day out and took my parents into Buckinghamshire. Found a lovely pub with a smashing restaurant for dinner. Dad treated us as we had taken them out. We had a very nice day, he was civil to me and really seemed to appreciate what we did for them. He actually is becoming frail and easily breathless. Finds it hard to get started when walking. Mum was pretty good. Though she needs a stick to walk and when we walked round one village she was in her wheelchair, hubby pushed so that was good.
Off to do some research.
Catch you tomorrow
Linda :o) XxX
Sorry I was typing

Thank you Shelly for that information.
I had a phone call from my daughter my siL had to go for a check up today they were very pleased with him he has lost a lot of weight. she laughed and said his trousers fell down when he put them on he needed a belt to keep them up. He has to go for a C Scan next tuesday to make sure everything is OK they removed a lot of his tummy. he is still not being able to eat much a little bit of lettuce and tomatoe and a little bit of fruit. they told him not to worry as long as he could swollow. he will have to go back on Chemo for three months to make sure everything has gone . so I am praying the worst is behind him now and he will have a longer life.
Hi Jean seems you have been enjoying yourself like Shelly.

Hello everyone, hope you all had a good weekend. I had my 4 month old Grandaughter to stay, am just about recovering from all the bottles and nappies, dont remember being this tired with my 2 or my foster children, but of course I was much younger then. I nearly threw computer through the window earlier, it is running soooo slow, but resisted the temptation. will go see what is in the fridge for tea now. Take care and enjoy your evening. Jean xx

so much for aera Esate managers she went off home and did not even have the decently to speak to me. the Estate manager went off to her afternoon job and said nothing either. they can go fall in the lake for all I care now
I will call into the community police office and also go and see the woman in The Citizens Advice Bureau.
warning to people thinking of moving into a retiement home on a Estate DONT unless you are sure of the owners of the lease. will treat you with respect and listen to your complaints big or small.

I am here. yes its me. ? i logged on this morning answered some email and replied to a couple of threads and signed off forgot to go this one.
I have been doing my washing waiting for the dryer to finish so I can take it out. I took the old fellow upstairs laundy up for him to save him going up and down the stairs.
I saw our Aera Estate Manager arrive to have her once a month to the Estate Manger so I went out and asked her if I could have a word with her before she left this estate. she said I have only just arrived. I said I know that, that was why I asked you before you left without seeing me.
I want to ask her about the kids with their games in the car Park kicikng their ball up my windows .The Estate Manager said the police cannot do anything as it is private property and the owners Anchor Trust cannot do anything either I want to know why.? so I will tell you the results later if I get them.
Did anyone see last nights WDYTYA American style I know Liz did as she put a reply on my thread. If you did not see it you missed a good research and some very good results.. .
Off now to take the w ashing out of the dryer.

Hi everyone.
Good morning Marilyn & Linda.
Marilyn when I read what Linda does in a day, I feel I must be wasting my live away because I don't manage to do half as much. Why is your granddaughter off school today?
Shelly I don't think any men would want to come on a thread with so many women.
We need someone to be quick and lock the door the next time Sue pops in, looks like it's the only way to keep her here. Who's quick off the mark? We need a volunteer to hide behind the door and lock it as soon as Sue gets in.
Elizabeth, I think you must be the only one on here that's interested in football..........I might be wrong, but I've never heard anyone say they liked it.
Mo, I agree with Marilyn, if he snores - wake him up and make him sleep in the bathroom. I recognize the name Dymchurch - must have been there when I was younger, don't remember anything about it though.
I hope Rita's OK, having your sleep pattern disturbed makes you feel tired all the time.
~~~~~~~~~~~ to Liz, Yvonne, Sue, Shelly, Mo, Elizabeth, Rita & Jean who aren't here yet.
Morning Ladies Bright and sunny again here.
Had a lovely time with my brother and his family. We went for a nic walk along the River Colne and some canal too, near Denham in Bucks. A tasty BBQ and home made raspberry fool for desert.
Today?? Gardening, a walk, ironing, oh and probably a visit to town for the bank.
Have a good day everyone
Dear All
Hello
Hope you are well and okay.
Went out to a church social lunch. Thank goodness there was much more of a breeze today.
Saw little bits of the Wimbleldon mens tennis final.
Managed to have a relaxing bath................normally have to barricade the door!
So now settling down to watch "Gazza's Tears" about the Football Word Cup in 1990. Very happy days.
Take gentle care Very best wishes xx
Evening all. Well it's been another scorching hot day here today. I went up the club lunch time for a lttle break away from the house. Sundays are so boring,with nothing special to watch on the box. And it being to hot outside to just sit there doing nothing. Mind you I have been pretty busy with my knitting. I have completed one cardigan,and have started on the second. Stupid me, I forgot to buy the buttons,so I must remember to get them tommorrow. I am looking forward to next weekend though. We are going down to Dymchurch for the weekend. Thank god the hotel has internet connection. So when him indoors starts snoring,I shall sit on here to entertain myself. This will be the first time in quite a few years that we shall be sharing a room. If it's anything like the last time,I shall scream. On that occasion I ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor. His snoring was horrendous. Even ear plugs did not drown it out. LOL
well that was a waste I have just gone through my HOT MATCHES they were all the same name George Barker mine being born in Devon all the others were from Merseyside and Yorkshire that aera. I did have four other names they were born north mine south. what a waste. why do GR do this sort of thing they might as well save their type. It seem the good old days when you had different names and sometimes found matches have gone for good.
Had my dinner l am going to look at a dvd and have a cup of tea. see you later.
