Oh girls how sad for poor Pauline and family. I hope that June's passing is peaceful. My heart goes out to them all.

my brother, sister and I sat with our dad during his last days, just holding his hand and chatting to him, the nurses said he would hear us.

Rita I have had a message from Pauline,

Oh dear its so sad....I knew it must have been June.

I told Pauline we are all thinking about her.

Thats has set me off now ......I'm feeling sad ..

well two emails from Pauline
we now know why she has not been on the boards to those who do not know her sister June is dying of cancer and has been sent home form the hospital pauline said they told them that she would go last thursday but she is still fighting it god bless her. her family are with her night and day.

I have just come back from town.......bought NOTHING !!!

Just looking for a change...Oh how I hate window shopping ..LOL

Rita I hope & pray your son-in-law for his coming operation, what sad news we seem do be having lately.
Mo I really thought you would have won.....never mind they must have cheated.!

I had a e-mail from my USA friends to say they so loved my Devon cream tea, that they had one afternoon, that they have ordered Devon Cream from the internet ......all the way to USA !!!.

And now wants a recipe for Devon Scones..LOL .

We were giggling about the jam & cream as my grandmother that came from Cornwall always put Jam first then the cream and low and behold if you did it the other way around.
So as she ended her days in Devon it was an order to do the same there.
I must admit I have only ever seen a photo of a scone with the cream first then the jam on top in a advert ,I'm sure it was one of the supermarkets Cafe.

Off to make some tea.......got no scones left ..

Mo that was good about your darts last night you must have put up a good show,
l have a little plaster on my arm where l had my lNR blood test done and a little plaster on my big toe where it was nipped at the foot clinic. so l am what they call plastered. lol

I shall be off next week on 16th to Hamsptead Garden Suburb staying with my sister for about a week. l am going to my Willesden History Societies AGM on the Wednesday so l am looking forward to that we have a film show afterwards of old Willesden. wonder if they will have a picture of me on it . ha.
I will be able to go and see my dear son in Law after his big operation and visit my daughter.
sitting here having a cup of tea a fire engineer drew up outside my small side window thinking it must be a fire l was nosey and looked out but they got out walked around and got back in and drove off four lovely young firemen in uniform l missed out there.

l think l will do a salad for my dinner tonight maybe a prawn cocktail ?

Well we lost last night,but only just. Both teams were on a finish at the same time,so no disgrace.
Please tell me one off you has heard from Pauline. It's been so long since we have heard from her. It's getting very worrying now.
We had very heavy rain last night. And I got caught out in it this dinner time
guess who had left her umbrella at home,yep moi.
We are out tonight for our meal with the family,so I will speak to you laters.

Hi all
I had to go and have my INR Blood test done today she was running late so instead of going in at 10 o.clock l went in at 10.45 l have the foot clinic this afternoon at 1.45. so l am praying it will not rain hard till lcome back l have to catch a bus and walk to the clinic the same coming back.

the new glasses specsave phoned to say they were ready that is 5 day including the weekend they told me it would be ten days.at least they are paid for.
so humid today and makes me feel really tired.
no Pauline again. ? or Sue ?
well think l will make myself a cup of tea or coffee.
