It is very strange Pauline not replying to my email are you sure she never mentioned going away on holiday or for a long weekend ?there have been none of her funny emails she sends out that is even worse because you usually get some of those.
she isnt ban is she ? she has never put anything on that would cause her to be ban.
so where are you Pauline.
l have been running back on the thread to see if she has said anything about going away but have found nothing so far.

My son in law emailed to tell me he was going for a cycle ride. in Harley Street he then said he has to go and get his heart and lungs tested before the big operation on the 10th of this month this week infact.
my daughter is going to phone tonight and tell me what happened my sister has gone to mass to say one for Him so you see we are all worried sick.

well morning is not looking good very overcast and humid it went very dark last evening and l thought we were in for it then but it brigthened up and we did not have it.

l watched the Basta awards last nightl have to admit l had not heard of half the shows that won awards.In The Thick of it " never heard of it
l am glad that Mervin Bragg got the main award he should have he has done so much for TV.

You know how it is,well perhaps you don't,when a face comes to mind,and you can't put a name to it.
I think I need Rita's brain at the moment,as I am trying to remember who it was that played in a series that was on years ago,it was about the Pledges Pickle factory. She used to say, "have you been Walter " to who I believe was her brother in the series. I think her character name was Nellie Pledge.
But I am trying to remember her real name. The only name that keeps coming into my head is Irene Handel,and I know it's not that.

Yippee,I have caught you at long last.
We had a lady vicar to do our blessing for our fortieth wedding anniversary.
She was really good. In fact so good,that a lot off our non church going guests,said they would not mind going to church in the future.
Unfortunately,she was transferred to another area. We really did miss her when she left,she was so down to earth,and very friendly.
I can remember when Richard Green played Robin Hood,on the t.v, ohhh
so many moons ago.
Showing my age now I know. Lol

Hope you are well.

Thank goodness its cooler today.

We went off to the park.

It was an inter-faith picnic get-together and then service.

At one stage, there was a lady vicar conducting the service.

I say a lady vicar! I don't mind in the least.

However, there were quite a few tut-tuts from the make shift pews.
Oh dear.

The youngsters want to see Robin Hood with Russell Crowe.

I remember when Kevin Costner played the title role.
The film theme was "Everything I do, I do it for you!" sang by Bryan Adams.

That was back in 1991!! Crikey!!

l have emailed Pauline to ask her if she is alright ?as we are all worried about her.

l enjoyed my dinner it was really lovely the bread and butter puddng went down a treat l have not made one of those for ages.
l cooked too many potato's l have enough for two bubble and squeaks now.
l boiled a couple of eggs thought l would do a little salad for tea tonight if not they will be used tomorrow.

l have been reading up on pensions l was surpised to find they starfted in 1908 . but Tom Paine thought about them in 1793 he thought the idea up of pensions and family allowance and tax. Lloyd George followed it up when Asquith Liberal Govement.
they started at 5 shilings a week up to 12 shillings you have to be 70 years old to get it. Lloyd George was said to state the pension would lift the shadow of the Work house on people who where unable to work. l wonder if there is a website that would give names of people who drew this penion. ?

Oh my god still no news from Pauline,this is becomning a real worry. I do hope that nothing bad has happened.

Shelly we are watching BGT now,coz we missed it last night. It's nuisance that we know the outcome though.
Kids will definately relate to Twist@ P. All the kids love anything dance related don't they.

Rita you are a naughty girl, you have made my mouth water with the mention off the bread+butter pud,and the peach flan. Just because I fancy them,it's sods law that I have not got the ingredients to make them. So I will have to put up with my banana,grapes,and satsuma instead.

We had a lovely thunder storm earlier. It threw it down with rain,but did not last very long.
Had a really good night at the ruby wedding celebrations last night. We got home at about 11.45,and I overslept this morning,I did not wake up till
10.30.

I always seem to miss Elizabeth when she comes on here.
Elizabeth please try to get here earlier,so we can have a natter.
