Going to get new glasses today I have had to wait 2 weeks for them and I have forgotten what they look like.(Buy get one free) and I did... I wanted no added prices etc like scratch proof water resistant or any other that they like to add afterwards..LOL... As I change them so often whats the point ?
So I'm off out after me bath.
Now where is Pauline ? not seen her for yonks ? Yvonne seems to be a Bizzy Bee lately..... come back Yvonne !! Think Sue has emigrated...... Lady well ...must be up her tree I think she has a tree house smewhere on that farm.

Morning Everyone Hope you all have a good day today. Liz the smell of sulpher has gone today unles it is me having such bad nose bleed perhaps the smell has vanished because of that. I am pleased your councilling is going well keep it up it will be well worth it in the end, Linda I suppose your purse is low now spending lol still it is nice to be able to go out and spend now and again makes you feel better in yourself providing you get a good bargain thats even better.
Look at our Marilyn she loves it even if it does causes arguments with her OH. l am still having a little laugh about her purchase of the portable Greenhouse. I wish your father a happy birthday Linda he is 90 years older than my little Charlie. see you all later.

Oh what a lot you all get up to lol
Rita, I do hope you are feeling better after the palaver of getting to the hospital and the problems you had there too. That sulphur smell was from the volcano as lots of people all over the place smelled it too, ugh!
Shelly, Marilyn sent me the pic of Olly, thanks Marilyn, he is scrumptious, I do miss contact with little ones, I did childminding for so long and now don't have any little ones to spend time with.
Counselling still going ok altho it's going to take a while to make much progress I think, but it feels ok talking about the things in my childhood etc that I think I have squashed down in the past. Just hope it all helps me address my hoarding problems eventually.
take care of yourselves, still very chilly wind in Norwich altho the days have been bright and sunny, I wish I could have a normal sleep pattern so I didn't miss so much daylight.
love Lizxxx

Hi Rita It is my Fathers birthday tomorrow. He wil be 82 but he decided to drive to his brother in Lincolnshire !!! Got my poor mother up at 4:00(as he was there by 7:30) He must be mad???? He is still trying to prove that he is in charge. I hope you feel better, no more nose bleeds.
The dentist was fine. He's leaving the damaged tooth as it gives no problems and both hubby and I only need a scale and polish so just the basic charge of £16:50 each. And he can see us in 10 days quite quick.
I spent a bit in M&S this morning. I changed a pair of trousers that were too big, got a new sweat shirt jumper, some cut off trousers for when I go away with my Canadian cousin after the wedding. I also got new sheets and pillow cases in a dusky lilac, a change from boring white. Really hard to get a flat sheet as we don't have a duvet only a blanket/fleece. I got new bath mats too and some cards.
Well off to bed as I am dropping and hubby is asleep in the chair

Mo sorry you didnt win but it is the game after all you are suppose to enjoy your turn will come. Marilyn I have not look at the GRO index for Walter my sister still say they lost an isaac Walter I said mybe but this one was born in 1873 but I will work my way through it somehow I am not going to give up. Hi Shelly it is like my Dad he was Arnold charles Lee and he was called cbarles by everyone except my Mum and Gran and my mother sister who called him Arnie
I have not been well after my scan infact I felt quiet ill and had two bed nose bleeds i had to go to bed with the first one as I was scared I would fall over. I got up made a cup of tea then had another nose bleed so I am being careful now I have my warfarin test on thurday morning so I am going to tell them when I go there as it could be the in jections they give you at the scan
My Great Grandsons birthday tomorrow Charlie's one of twins Oscar died three hours after birth so it is a happy time and a sad time he lays in Cherry Tree Cemetery in a little graved shaped like a craddle and the children go there and put a birthday card on the grave and some flowers.

Shelly ...pass it this way....I'll gobble it up .LOL
I got a leg of lamb for Thursday as my lot are all coming for dinner I have bought a very large leg of lamb that was priced at £14-95 never have I ever paid that much for a leg of lamb..!
But I love lamb & mint sauce...so Shelly if you give me some of yours down the Cyber Hatch.......I'll give you some of mine on Thursday.
Now I'm knackered I have been out and about today, saw my Dad that has booked to go to Ireland in June, why I asked him at your age.... you should stick to your own home ground. ! My god he does not listen to any of his children or his wife of 96yrs that has to carry both cases. now that is selfish dont you think ? Because he's a bit unsteady on his feet he thinks he's fit for traveling.
We are hoping it gets cancelled as there might not be enough people going on the coach.
Going to watch telly for a change.....back tomorrow.

Evening all. Well we lost at darts last night. Still I have got the pairs next week,so fingers crossed we do a bit better then. We have had such a lovely day,we have been down the coast to Ramsgate Had lunch out, consisting off gammon steak, pineapple, chips and peas, lovely. I was to full to have any dessert. It was lovely down there,a little breezy, but fine with a coat on. We were watching the extra ferries going in and out, presumably bringing holiday makers home. Rita, your day sounds like something from one off the carry on films. Now just try and chill out, after all your excitement, off getting lost.

I can now tell you all what a day I had. first the lady came to pick me up to take me to the hospital at Ashford at 10.45 my appointment was for 11.40 she was a retired nurse from NZ. she got lost and we went around the same round about three times. passed the police with their camera's taking photos of the traffic stopped once and asked them the way we past them again and again. time was getting on. we went one side of the river the otherside of the river and was getting further away from the hospital I said to her we are at camberly now thats where my younger son lives.. we stopped asked three more people eventually I reconized a building and told her we have to go along here and it is the first turning on the left hurray we arrived at 11. 50 I had to sit for an hour to drink the ancieed but they took someone else in before me I went into the scan room at 1. 30 and then she injected my arm I had told her I was on warfarin and would bleed if they used to bigger needle guess what I bled she kept pressing on my arm to try and stop it. then she did the scan when she took the needles out of my arm it started again so she made me sit outside her room for 10 minutes to make sure it had stopped bleeding I got home tired hungry and thirsty at 2.30. It was the worst day I had going to that hospital nothing seem to go right it was just one of those days.

Marilyn one of my distant relation I found in Devon her ancestors married into my Lee family. 2 of them. She is the curator of the Lace Museum in Honiton and helps people over seas with some of their question on where their relations were bornI l get intouch with her when she is on duty at the lace Museum but she had records of Baptisim and I checked with her she said he was Isaac Walter Lee Baptised on the register 26th September 1873 and it gave his father as Absalom Lee a farm Labourer. when I was in Devon a few years ago I use to go to her every morning and search on her fich machine. that was how I found so many of our relation and ancestors, what did you mean when you said he was never registered at PRO ? I know the photo I have of Walter in unifrom is mine his relation sent it too me one of his sisters daughters husband had it on the garage walls for years. The thing was My grandfather and Walter signed to go into the forces the year their father died Absalom in 1889 Walter went into the Navy he said he was born 4th Ooctober 1871 yet he was born in 1873 my grandfather Fredrick was born in 1869 his brother Abslom was born 1871 Grandfather went into the forces in 1891 Walters papers he signed his birth as 4th October 1871 to me it appears he used the date he signed on 4th october as his birthday and the year he would have been able to get into the Navy. I have him on the census.he was born in September 1873 so you can see how I am struggling to see if he d ropped his Isaac right through his life and was known only as Walter.wondered if it would have been legal to have married or have died without using his first name Isaac.

Hi everybody, I had company all day yesterday so I didn't have the chance to come on here.
I've got the heating engineers here today and tomorrow so we'll have no hot water or heating for 2 days (and it's cold). I've just emptied both the airing cupboards so they can get to the boiler and the tank. God, I've come across some things I haven't seen for years, I forgot I had most of it. I don't know how I managed to get so much stuff in 2 cupboards.
Edit: Marilyn that cuppa went cold and I need a coffee so I'll make fresh ones.

I wanted to ask Shelley do you know any cemeteries in the Portsmouth area. My sister and I thought we might pop down there sometimes this year for the day and have a look around to see if we could find any Lee family .
Also Marilyn if she knows any in her aera Plymouth.
The sun is out and the sky is blue what a difference from yesterday.

Morning Another busy day yesterday. Spring cleaning all upstairs windows in and out................ helped by hubby. Washing Ironing Food Shopping.
Enjoyed ourselves with our friends.
Still sorting out the hen weekend. Off on Friday, so I won't be online again until late Monday. So please don't worry about me thinking I am missing will you all?
Rita it was the Longacres at Bagshot that we went to, I think it is the only one. It's a paradise in there, spend far too much money even if there are cheaper prices as I choose so many things !!!
Off to the dentist this afternoon. Only a check up but I lost a crown at Christmas so he will be cross with me as I haven't been to see him. No pain so I kept puttin it off with all the other health issues.
Be back Later
Have a Good day

Thank you Shelley and Marilyn
it is along time since I sent for any and I recall someone on here saying they were going up.. I will have to look on google to make sure. Marilyn you little devil knitting scarfs for dollies I bet she loves that. I expect there is a back log if people got in before the certificates went up. Mo good luck at Darts tonight you might be surprise you must have heard of beginer luck. I had a call earlier the lady that was taking me to the hospital tomorrow for my scan cannot take me she had an accident with her car and the windcreen is all cracked so I think they are geting someone else to take me I have to wait till tomorrow to find out for sure. I go with Goldsworth Care . I am not allowed to eat anything for four hours before so I can have something at 7,30 and nothing till after 1 oclock. so I wont be on here till later on in the day..
Hi Yvonne I just noticed you had been on.hope your OK. Rita
